the movie was suppose to end like this. not the hero dies and the ass hole wins. this ending makes alot sense than the original piece of shit

@deeqable The movie was not supposed to end like this. The alternate ending was made for countries that didn't like the original ending. The film's director, Sergio Corbucci, wanted to end the movie by having the good guys die and the bad guys live because he wanted to show what would happen in a real situation. The original ending fits the movie better and makes more sense than the happy ending.

While it's definitely the ending I would prefer as someone who liked these characters, I still believe that the original ending was the right ending to go with, as sad and depressing as it was.

@doddsino Agreed, the mood of the movie would have shifted if this ending was edited into the movie. It was such a dark and grim movie, the original ending fit that mood perfectly.
