Obama fought tooth and nail to keep US troops in Iraq. The only reason they're leaving is because the Iraqi govt refused to grant US soldiers complete immunity from Iraqi law. Considering how often they shoot civilians, this was obviously unacceptable to the US military, so they're leaving. This is no policy success.
