Can you fix the natd in most of the vmware versions to not choke every time something relatively network intensive touches it? Why don't I have these problems with the opensource equivalents?
vmware is shit, not particularly special, over-hyped software which - like just about everything else - has superior, free, open-source equivalents.
There are too many people out there that use vmware that should be using user-mode linux (or some other more efficient operating-system level virtualization.)
