We went there last night at around 7:00pm-8:30pm, as you are going around the little bend just past the small gate, you can see a white figure in the middle, but as you get closer, you realise its just abit of the tunnel at the start either the leaves sticking out or the end of the tunnel, this is what most people most likely see, get freaked out and leave... The only abnormal thing that happpened in the tunnel was my iphone light began to flicker... Its also very cold.. But we saw nothing. FAKE
i went here in 2010 in august , i remember feeling something touch my face while walking threw the tunnel to go see the tracks , and i jumped and ran to my boyfriend (now ex) , i remmeber when we walked back out the tunnel , i saw a glimpes of what i thought was emily .. i never have beenback to picton since .

The lights we got were small but have seen the large coloured ones as well. I also have EVP from the tunnel of a man who I believe may have hung himself in there. Also heard footsteps in there but the apparition was the most convincing

@NayNayx1 no its got a gate in front of it but if you go to the side of the gate you can walk in takes you straight to the tunnel i went last week with a couple of mates nothing new though........
me and my son 18 yrs old walked through that tunnel real dark on the way out though it got real windy likea huge air conditioner real cold blowing us out i suppose like the wind the old trains blew out picton was an old consumption place where people died by thee scores very unuasual place even ghost animals
The most I got from the tunnel was a photograph of a man in a long coat silhouetted crossing the opening of the tunnel which was taken by a medium who was helping out on the documentary (The photo is in the documentary). While I was filming on the tour, we all also witnessed the supposed white glowing form of Emily Bollard coming down the tunnel and being blocked by a dark shadow. Of course it was too dark for my camera to pick up anything, even with night vision on.
I finished production on a short documentary on "Haunted Picton" only recently (which you can view on my YouTube page if you are interested) and I can honestly say having gone to the Haunted Hot Spot locations for filming and not always with a group or with anyone for that matter, that yes activity occurred that cannot be explained logically and it would be naive for anyone to shrug it of had they experienced it themselves. But I actually found the Shire Hall most active as opposed to the tunnel

yesterday i went to the tunnels and waitied in the center where emily died, we heard the sound of a train coming, it got louder and louder, and we heard it enter the tunnel from the trainrail side of the tunnel, and made its way down to the middle and beeped twice and continued travelling down to the end of the tunnel. it was so loud and realistic we expected a train to run through the tunnel, could it be just the echo from a train running on the the traintracks closeby? it was at 8.30pm.
i ended up going on the tour and omfg i shit my self a small rock was thrown and i seen white lights and a black shadow going through the white light i was shiting my self and hahaha you shit your self with the train as well lol... emily came half way as soon a people put their tourches on she went .... but i do have to say something touched me on my neck... i packed it i was shaking and everything plus also the dampness smell was getting stronger every time she was getting closer

Picton tunnel isnot only haunted by emily but by her brother who died of old age but always played and walked on the tracks..one of my friends visited picton last year..there lights automatically turned on and they were chased out of there leaving one to fall over..not only by emily but also her brother..
i went there last night on a tour and the tour guide said she could see emily and told us not to look directly at her or you wouldnt be able to see her good because it was so dark and all of us looked out the corner of our eyes and most of us could see her i did, it was amazing she was glowing and flickering and she came closer to us most of us saw it it was so creepy but we couldnt really go in the tunnel we only went in a couple of meters

@KiwiGhost Emily was a young women or school girl who took a short cut to get to her grandmas house via the old train tunnel. She ended up getting killed by the train. I still have her ghostly image in my head from that night. She was like 1 metre in front of me... I will never forget it
