Wow, this is wonderful, incredible. What I dont understand is why they dont want to make this available to anyone on the internet. After all this is the only way to appreciate and remember the director.
However, I think this is genius work. I would have taken away the black fades out. And also it is not clear for me, if the girl on the cuffin is the mother, or the sister. I felt it was the sister, that is why she gave toys to her. But she was all alone in the house. So sad, so touching.
@dharmaista I think it is her little sister. The whole film is full of visual metaphors. I think she is alone in the house because grieving is something people do on their own. Even when there are other people there with you, it is something every individual person must go through individually. It is very difficult for children to accept death.
Film Camp, the company that owns that rights to this short film, contacted me and told me to take this down. They themselves don't make this available to anyone anywhere on the web. A great example of common sense!
@maggotinabin After they threatened to contact YouTube, I sent them a letters pointing out that this is the only place on the web where you can see this movie. They responded that they don't care and that the director is "happy with the distribution." I copied this to a foreign website similar to YT, but since then nothing happened to this video and I haven't heard anything.
I just watched this with my sister. A strange feeling is sorrounding us.

@roxette521 It's strange how great arts are limited in viewing and distribution due to the creator's own conscious decision.
