bornwithoutwarning, Ok, so take your own advice then and shut it before I cave it and you end up on life support...I am selling my Rory Gallagher Fender Start if anyone is interested? Nice job faaradar! And the big mouth should change his pascode to "BORNWITHOUTBRAINS". "The Bluesman" Thats The Way, Uh huh, Uh huh, I Like It Retards!
Why would you say something like that? Am I not able to voice my opinion without being put down? Listen you little punk, how would you like to go to the hospital? Ever listen to bluegrass, didnt think so. Try it sometime and you will see that this 6 foot under "stiff" sucks ass!
I like this very much. Very Rocking, having all the time a good status - as Jimi Hendrix also did. I was born in '66, so somehow i remember rory. In fact during his lifetime i saw only once him - in TV - but ,wowo, it was great in ´82 or something: some great, i´ve never heard after Page or Winter or so. I told about what i saw in tv, answered: Rory Gallagher ! The elder knew him !
Saw a 100 best ever guitarists documentary , and Rory wasnt even mentioned, who the fuck was in charge of that, apparently even Jimi Hendrix No.1 said he was better than him. Rory was THE man!!!
WOW...I don't think I ever recall my dad telling me about Rory Gallagher. Im glad I discovered him young. This guy can solo! This is amazing music right here. Priceless man...Priceless...this song is richer then Bill Gates.
@davetaylorbluespiano Sometimes that happens. I did it once also. Everybody at uTube started screaming "dipshit" at me. I haven't been back since... ;-(
Whoah, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are the most amazing band, with bassist Victor Wooten (a disciple of the late great Jaco Pastorius) and Bela's banjo being so prominent in a rock based band. I never ever would have guessed that Bela Fleck played with Rory!
rory- unreal. fair play for putting this up. and credit to barry barnes, does a serious job paying tribute. check out his band 'Sinner Boy', and solo shows. I
I've loved this since I first heard it on the Wheels Within Wheels CD, so I was delighted that it was included on the Montreux DVD. Amazing to think it was an impromptu jam and that Rory and Bela Fleck had apparently never played together before. It's wonderful to see the rapport between them as they almost seem to read each other's minds, and all three of them so obviously enjoying themselves. Donal said he'd never heard Rory do this song before, I presume he included it in courtesy to Bela.
this audio was taken from the 1992 montreu show (i have no idea how to spell montreux o.0) anyways, he plays amazing grace, walking blues, then this in a sort of medly. i have the dvd ^_^
@rocker53zero Rory Gallagher - Live At Montreux, and it's the 1992 concert. he plays amazing grace, walking blues, and blue moon of kentucky with bella fleck. Mark Feldham also joins in on harmonica.
there's a pretty awesome part with mark playing a random irish jig in the middle of a song, and rory just stops playing and dances. it's really a worth while dvd.
The first time I viewed this, I wasn`t too impressed. But that was an hour ago, and this is the forth viewing afterwards! By the way, you made the screenshots seem to be original to me. Five stars, and thank you.
I defenetly enjoy it! What year is this from?
