im amazed with how quickly all the different fire companies responded. I left my house @ about 7:30 and by that time it seemed like all of lake county fire, and ems plus sheriffs, and various PD's were already in Fairport

@lennyr777 - I was there at 11.30am and the Main streets were still blocked off but you could get around the side streets.
The Apartment where the fire started was still burning, when I left at 12.30noon it was still burning.

I've been listening to this all morning. I'm in Painesville. I've heard everything and it sounds like an overpressurized gas main, not a rupture. The fires are all over town not just in one area. Hope everyone made it out of the burnt buildings ok.
