Jay Z totally sampled the music from this game in Run This Town.

This game used to scare to corn jibblets out of me. I couldn't play it alone unless my mommy was in the other room.

...you have to keep in mind the game was made back in the 80s...alot of action games there were duds...I dont think this was though. There is a big difference between frustrating, and suckish. this is just a frustrating game, to play. but i like it. Lighting the fires keeps Jason, away from them.

A respectable review. Though, the game isn't that horrible. But it's not an amazing game by any means. Not all LJN games on the NES were bad. Though, the worst game would be Back to the Future 2 & 3. Alien3 and T2 on the NES were ok.

I agree on the LJN shit factor, tho to a surprise, (I'm pretty sure they were involved, not sure if 100%, but they were involved) Alien 3 for SNES actually was.. I'd say a master piece, on art and music, the game play was hard environment wise but the controls weren't impossible. Sega's version is a bit different, falls more with Amiga, but still fair games.

Have you played this game prior to the review? Also, the fireplaces have something to do with getting better weapons. You think Jason is hard now? Wait until the 3rd day you're there in the game.

@Bert1268 I get my games for the store from a large variety of sources, including customer trade-ins. At least the retro and used ones. The new ones come from a distributer.

I'm not standing up for the features in this game, since they are HORRIBLE, but, when I used to play this game back in the day, I found it easier to hit my target with the rocks if I ducked down. That just seems to be a thing a lot of reviewers never seem to catch onto

Yeah I remember this game from back in the day. Sucked. Soundtrack doesn't seem too bad for an NES game though.
