Wow, what a story! My first PG experience (in Budapest, '87) was also way more remarkable than this concert... Guess those years were the PG heyday, and this occasion wasn't helped by the pouring rain:)

I first saw PG at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara (1980). The lights went down to start the concert, the theatre went black, then the rhythmic drum beat of The Intruder began- over & over & over. Minutes passed,then the Band appeared from the back of the theatre, coming up the aisles, each with spotlights that they randomly shined over the audience. I had an aisle seat and was able to pat PG on the back as he passed by. They climbed on stage and played The Intruder. Incredible!

Great timeless song!

I wish he had made a video of this back in 1980. and the camera would just close up on his eyes while he sang it and it would make the hair on your arms stand up!
