  • these driving test are more for who now? the bike or the rider? bike did well but the rider would probablly be inflight for a hard landing. gotta be wicked cool to work for a crash-test group.

  • I'm sure The3Jake2 knew this when he posted it, but others may not realize this video was recorded at the 2000 World Reconstruction Expo (WREX-2000) held in Texas, which was hosted by most of the major crash reconstruction organizations in the USA. This is one of 17 tests conducted with retired KZ1000s. The series of tests was discussed by Kelly Adamson et al. in SAE paper 2002-01-0551.
