The 2 Manchester performances sounded way different from the rest of the tour..she sounded great here. But I just can't hear the AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU that good..it's hard to record with a camera or mobile phone.

@Bolthom She did always stop at the beginning of this performance for a few seconds. You are totally right! BUTTT, she neve stopped for a few minutes back then befor the big and IIIIIIII. Check out some of her old concerts. The pause was always in the beginning. And autotune definatelly mak those shrieking noises she made sound almost okay, because thats what she used duringthis performance. I love Whitney and I respect her as a person but sometimes the truth hurts and maybe it just might help.
Thank God i cancelled the tickets that i had. I wiil remember how good Whitney used to be and i wiil stick to listening to all the back catalogue of CD ,s that i have. Give it up girl you have had your day!! Stay off drugs everyone!!!

Im not saying anything is wrong with that, because she is only going back to her roots. And I say this because not only is Whitney pausing, but she also turns around and takes a few steps back. And I know that she is only taking that long to say a prayer to GOD.

@tdgainey12 Hi, the quality on this video is really quite crackly and bad. She did not sound like that at the concert. Listen to the crowd. I was there, and she was really good. The only complaint I had was the way she was dressed, a bit dowdy in my opinion.

And as for stopping before 'I will always love you' she always paused before the 'big' ending. You can tell the audience really loved her. We had a great night. Regards.

Look back on You Tube at the original versions she made and there is absolutely no comparison - this is gross!! Mind you, one has to say that a lot of water has gone under the bridge since she made the original recording and she is not the singer she once was; life, drink, drugs etc have all taken their toll - and it shows!!!

Waow she's getting so much better. The VOICE is a musical instrument and this tour has helped to blow the cobwebs out of it. Ok she was a little rusty at the start of the tour but her voice has got so much better since then. Now she has a chance to rest and her next performances will be brilliant. Whitney Houston is a recovering drug/alcohol addict. An addict needs a rehab program followed by therapy, and vocal re-training and reconditioning -- NOT the love of her fans. The love helps, of course. I wish Whitney had done a year of rehab and getting her spiritual stuff together prior to the tour. To try to fool the public with this tour was not a smart move as well as a slap in the face to the PAYING public. No expected her to sound the same, but her croaking vocals were an insult.

I went with my daughter who is the fan, i had a FAB nite weds and thurs at manchester it was well worth the wait.
It May not of been a full arena but the crowd were fab, plenty of noise and dancing . I have to say people who refunded missed a fantastic night. Thank you Whitney.
I was at this this gig and i disagree with all the positivity!!! I think people get caught up in the fact that they're seeing whitney, which in turn severely clouds there judgement. Whitney managed to sing the faster up-tempo numbers well but the ballads were terribly arranged and badly sung!!! She gave it her all but come on people to say the voice is back is just plain RIDICULOUS!!!!! The Crack pipe has taken that away for good and it aint coming back!!!

No the concert was not sold out primarily because fans felt it was better to take the refund rather than sit through another 'Whitney Houston Pity concert. The review in the Manchester paper said she was better in upbeat numbers but vocally she is still a shadow of what she once was. Before Whitney ventures on other gigs after this Euro tour she needs to see a voice teacher desperately after she unwisely destroyed her voice on crack, cigs and alcohol. Poor thing.

I was pleasantly suprised how good she was last night having wacthed most of her tour on youtube and having heard all the media coverage about her poor performances. My only critisism is here appearance. She doesn't look very well and she seems to have lost the glamour she ones had. She seems to have gone down hill since the X Factor as she looked great then!
We saw Whitney in Nottingham on 14th April and she was sensationable.... again last night in Manchester and her voice was even stronger, hitting all the notes. Obviously the tour is strenghthening her vocals again. Missed hearing step by Step, which she normally sings on this tour.. We'd go again tonight if i could. Loved the upgrade of the seats due to low ticket sales, ended up next to the stage instead of in the gods at the back of the arena where our original seats were.Brill..Thanks Whitney

first of all el cheapo cell cams have limited accoustic dynamic range; you dont get the upper ranges and lower ranges of sound. so being live at the show DOES NOT sound the same as on utube. i'm sure she sound much better by all accounts live than from this simplistic recording device. even so-called HD devices dont capture the same accoustics as the human ear. just sayin.

I'm so glad (and relieved) that I kept my ticket..she really was so much better than I expected! A strong performance throughout the night. i was worried when she went off wringing wet after half an hour but she was really really great!

@Chasenip Improving doesn't mean that she totally recovered. It means that she used to sound way worse. For example, there was a time where she couldn't even make a noise trying to sing softly. She still has a LOT of work to do. She's definitly not at her best, but she's trying to get better.

And as for stopping before 'I will always love you' she always paused before the 'big' ending. You can tell the audience really loved her. We had a great night. Regards.

Look back on You Tube at the original versions she made and there is absolutely no comparison - this is gross!! Mind you, one has to say that a lot of water has gone under the bridge since she made the original recording and she is not the singer she once was; life, drink, drugs etc have all taken their toll - and it shows!!!

Waow she's getting so much better. The VOICE is a musical instrument and this tour has helped to blow the cobwebs out of it. Ok she was a little rusty at the start of the tour but her voice has got so much better since then. Now she has a chance to rest and her next performances will be brilliant. She has accomplished more in 10 years than most people do in a lifetime. Ok she made some bad choices but Honestly can any of us say that we havent? Give her a chance, shes doing her best. Support!!!

Whitney Houston is a recovering drug/alcohol addict. An addict needs a rehab program followed by therapy, and vocal re-training and reconditioning -- NOT the love of her fans. The love helps, of course. I wish Whitney had done a year of rehab and getting her spiritual stuff together prior to the tour. To try to fool the public with this tour was not a smart move as well as a slap in the face to the PAYING public. No expected her to sound the same, but her croaking vocals were an insult.

I went with my daughter who is the fan, i had a FAB nite weds and thurs at manchester it was well worth the wait.
It May not of been a full arena but the crowd were fab, plenty of noise and dancing . I have to say people who refunded missed a fantastic night. Thank you Whitney.

I was at this this gig and i disagree with all the positivity!!! I think people get caught up in the fact that they're seeing whitney, which in turn severely clouds there judgement. Whitney managed to sing the faster up-tempo numbers well but the ballads were terribly arranged and badly sung!!! She gave it her all but come on people to say the voice is back is just plain RIDICULOUS!!!!! The Crack pipe has taken that away for good and it aint coming back!!!

Listen to the audience they loved her, I know I was there! The only complaint I've got was she didnt look very glamarous like she did in London. She has put on quite a lot of weight since she started this tour so was covering up!

No the concert was not sold out primarily because fans felt it was better to take the refund rather than sit through another 'Whitney Houston Pity concert. The review in the Manchester paper said she was better in upbeat numbers but vocally she is still a shadow of what she once was. Before Whitney ventures on other gigs after this Euro tour she needs to see a voice teacher desperately after she unwisely destroyed her voice on crack, cigs and alcohol. Poor thing.

I was pleasantly suprised how good she was last night having wacthed most of her tour on youtube and having heard all the media coverage about her poor performances. My only critisism is here appearance. She doesn't look very well and she seems to have lost the glamour she ones had. She seems to have gone down hill since the X Factor as she looked great then!

We saw Whitney in Nottingham on 14th April and she was sensationable.... again last night in Manchester and her voice was even stronger, hitting all the notes. Obviously the tour is strenghthening her vocals again. Missed hearing step by Step, which she normally sings on this tour.. We'd go again tonight if i could. Loved the upgrade of the seats due to low ticket sales, ended up next to the stage instead of in the gods at the back of the arena where our original seats were.Brill..Thanks Whitney

@My0Vids Well i was at two of her London shows and they wernt bad - well i thoroughly enjoyed myself actually, and i would definately pay to see her again - and i agree with @rossgardiner You have to be there !

@tdablack11 Improving? DURING her tour, mind you. And the last dates of the tour at that. Yeah! THAT makes sense. If this CRAPTASTIC screeching is what you people call 'improving' I pity u! PLEASE, stay FAR away from WH. U are enablers. She has problems, issues, whatever, IDK...but girlfriend AINT RIGHT! @Chasenip Improving doesn't mean that she totally recovered. It means that she used to sound way worse. For example, there was a time where she couldn't even make a noise trying to sing softly. She still has a LOT of work to do. She's definitly not at her best, but she's trying to get better.
