Personaly I hoped that the last few eps of SGA would be more "NORMAL" didn't realy like that ep. at first but after that it was OK.But the biggest thing was that the end of that ep was one of the BEST posible ending and a beautiful soundtrack witch in UT terms goes beyond "GODLIKE" or "HOLY $H&T"...wait thats the my whole opinion on SG series in a few word.BEST SERIES EVER(bring us SGU back)

I really liked the alternative versions of Sheppard and McKay. They were still themselves, but fundamentally different. It was a great episode, even for those who've only seen a few episodes of Stargate Atlantis. I would've liked to see O'Neill or Daniel in this episode though, would've made me more interested in what was going on inside the base.

ever since the first episode of stargate atlantis was aired in 2004, john sheppard has been my role model.

While excelling at many tasks just as alt. Lt. Colonel Shepherd did, Shepherd earned a rank of Major really quick. at this time, the constant Wraith attacks gave way for SGA to rely on Major Shepherd's advanced ability to use ancient tech. After frequently saving Atlantis base from many attacks and the constant success of putting the wraith on the defensive for a change, Shepherd finally earned his Lt. Colonel rank and then rightfully took command of SGA's flagship unit.

he did not die...remember the 2 bombers that were dispatched. the authorities were already on the way. so shepherd only had to hold on for 5 minutes...which he did.

he was taken to vegas valley hospital, rm 52 where he made a full recovery and later became a military consultant. 1 year later mckay persuaded woolsy to allow clearance for shepherd to visit SGA base. there he stayed for 4 weeks and underwent SG training and eventually joined the SGA expedition under his former rank of captain.

@matohibiki he didn't betray his principles though - he just stuffed up and it set him on a bad course or one where he achieved less then he could have. he thought he could save his g/f but he failed - and it cost several innocent lives in the process.

he made all kinds of decisions like that in the parallell reality - but they always worked out.

@Nomoreidsleft It wouldn't be very credible if the wraith would have P90s. Remember that the wraith had to keep a low profile. There'd be no (believable) way he'd get his hands on a P90. Even if he did, he'd probably have access to better equipment as well..

@Gluupor Hello, this is the USA, we're talking about. They are in Vegas. I went down to Vegas, from Canada, and all I needed was a credit card, and they let me shoot a P60, M16, AK47 and various hand guns. You can even order P90's for about $2800 USD over the internet. It's totally plausible!

Unfortunatly Sheppard didn't stop the alien in time and it led to an invasion by an invincible Hive Ship in the correct reality. The main universe John Sheppard destroyed the ship at the last minute with a nuke from the inside, but it was pretty damn close
