@CALCANEUSS - My parents born, lives (and left 1922) from Vourla (today Urla) Smyrna (today Izmir) helped by his family Turkish friend named Ismail. My son have his friend name ISMAIL (Papachristodoulou).
i see here a beautiful fraternization between U and Me. i love all greek people their culture is just like ours at many fronts.many turkish people are thinking my way.. I hope the politions are ever in the future will see the truth like us............
It's hard for me to describe how this makes me feel. Despite the fact that everyone is just a normal person no glamorous models here, this video has an unspeakable beauty! I want to watch it over and over. Can someone translate the words?
I,m Turkish Cypriot and i do speak Greek.Turkish and Greek are very similar culture. I do not understand why lots of us see each other enemy.Guys we are people are not enemy politicians make us enemy.we must forget the past.what i see is in Greece and Turkey nationalism is growing very fast it is not good.Lets be friend we are the people know how to enjoy the life and both side has beautiful culture we can learn from each other make us more rich.Idont have enemy.
Bravo file (kardas) You have got it right! I am Greek and I served in the Greek Army in Cyprus. What you say is the truth. When we both wake up and not let the politicians and big powers play us, we will avoid the foolish tragedy that almost got me and you killed, Cok tessekur, kardash. Agapi ke heretismata apo Pireas! -Giorgos
some of the MOST beautiful angels on earth are Greek n Turkish girls yet when i was growing up we just were not allowed to love n marry each other n that makes me sad for i felt i lost something through no fault of my own
Sarki cok iyi guzel de Hatay turkusune "Yunan" tag i niye konuldugunu cok iyi anlamadim. Dusmanlik duygusu ile felan soylemiyorum, bu turkunun Yunancasi da var da ondan midir? Yoksa nedir? Yoksa raki masasinda gobek atmak mi Yunan isidir? Nedir?
Hopaaaaaa...Kala,kala:) Benim dedelerim Midilli göçmeni.Bu müziği çok sever ve dinlerim.Gerek buradaki Rumların oraya gidişi,gerekse oradaki Türklerin buraya gelişi hüzün dolu sevda ve hasret türkülerinin yakılmasına neden olmuştur.Ben bir Ege'liyim ve bununla her zaman gurur duyarım.YAŞASIN BARIŞ,YAŞASIN SIRTAKİ VE ZEYBEK! RAKI-BALIK-AYVALIK!GERİSİ YALAN KELAMLIK!
So sad for the matter between Turkiye and Greece or between just governments. We are all "komshu" and love each other. Let the peace rise in Aegean Sea.

Viva Raki
And thx Muammer Abi for his peace-loving sensitive
He really goes all out.....and blurs the line... between "what is" Greek...and "what is" Turkish. And it's so charming, seductive...and so real...neither "patriotic" side can really complain! It's a celebration of what they share! Just great!
This is a most charming video. The simple details such as the kitten being frightened by the birds, to the beautiful (in a very natural non-artificial way) young woman beckoning the man to dance, to the yia-yia (grandmother) tapping time on the babies bottom, to the suprise of Ketencoglu when he tastes the raki/ouzo all make this a great video. I am Greek and proud to say Ketencoglu is an extraordinary musician and a wonderful instrument of peace in the eastern Med.
sanırım kafa karıştıran türkünün -kuvvetle muhtemel- İzmir/Hatay'da derlenmiş olması.
