  • Don't worry. No animals were hurt/killed to make this...

  • excellent design!

  • are you referring to the 'ok go' video?

  • That reminds me of the movie "9"~!

  • only duncan would tweet this super creepy shit...

  • @DeeZStankYNutZ I want to follow this "duncan". Where can I find duncan?

  • @Sarahmint duncan trussell, or @duncantrussell on twitter

  • w8... i wanna know whats powering that thing to move

  • I really love this, while it has a human like sadness to it, its walk also makes me question what it is to have persona and self-perception in the identity of human form. If i was to name it, it would be ''pitty''

  • WTF WTF WTF WTF did i just see?!

  • does anybody know the name of the music video that has some of these gadgets in? cheers

  • @pilviu

try "Dead Man's Bones - Dead Hearts"

  • This machine was on an episode of Arthur!!!!

  • ed gene much ?

  • @sillychops I believe you mean Ed Gein

  • @ASSASSINOC714 thank you yea . massive fail on my part

  • I'd buy it!!!

  • poor wishbone having to haul all of that

  • I almost feel bad for the thing. It looks like a lone little man pulling a huge cart ^^ but in a way, it's cute, and strange. I really don't know what to make of it, and I guess that's why its so great.

  • So cool!

  • shizoo

  • This kind of creeps me out. I mean, a walking wishbone? Scary business...

  • joli!

  • i dont know why but this thing makes me laugh so hard that tears are running down my face

  • @podizzle2 no you're not. you're just trying to to be dramatic.

  • @poodizzle2

Cause you smoked a little to much happy weed (:

  • did anyone else see the episode of arthur? ha I am such a philistine.

  • I saw the machine with oil

  • Uou . It is amazing . It freaks me out . Lol !

    Amazing . Good job ! ;)

  • Slave driver. The poor little wishbone has to pull all that stuff.

  • Introduced him to my art history professor and his stuff ended up in the curriculum.

    Frickin genius.

  • =} I found out about Arthur Ganson on the little kid's show Arthur =}

  • LOL me too!!!

  • me too lol

  • it looks like that little wish bone is puling by it's self lol

  • I always thought cars could use that technology of self energy. Very useful formula.

  • It's actually very scary to see a walking wishbone, regardless as to whether or not it is powered by a machine.

  • how was it powered i thought i saw a little motor but no power source, anybody know?

  • At about 57 seconds a black plastic housing can be seen. Probably a battery holder.

  • he just made a wish

  • not sure about the actual way in this video but the piece is in the permanent collection at the MIT Museum in Cambridge, MA and there it's powered by two copper flexible contacts which drag on 2 live rails on the ground. it also has this awesome turntable mechanism that cause it to reverse direction and walk back and forth all day. An in person visit is highly recommended.

  • I love how many people say he has too much time on his hands. He is a sculptor you morons, THIS IS HIS JOB, and i'm sure its alot cooler than whatever the hell you do everyday.

  • i really cant comprehend how its walking like that lol

  • weird shit not cool just dodgy

  • sweet!

  • co0o0o0o0oo0o0o0olll

  • teletubby89...i hope your talking about CrazyKidCorp...because this is pretty damn interesting, if you dont get the artistic aspect of it, i feel sorry for you.

  • Haha, wow, we are actually remembered by people... I typed Crazykidcorp into google to find dis'

  • you have no life. please die. now

  • thats soo random

  • Thanks for giving us the link to this amazing genius's site; I really appreciate it.

  • That is absolutely fascinating, and extremely beautiful to watch. I'm an instant Arthur Ganson fan, and I thank the person who gave Ganson's site link in his comment; http://www.arthurganson.com/pages/Sculptures.html

    This is amazing work.

  • Nice job! It's inspiring to see great video of a great project. No ninjas, girls "dancing", or morons on crothch rockets being angry.

    Thank You

  • American ingenuity at its best.

  • oh my god, that was amazing, we have solved the energy problem, instead of oil we can use dead birds to power our vihichles

  • Cool!

  • wow cool!!

  • wow, really creative! i love the part when it shows the whole creation from afar, it looks even more amazing. kinda creepy bc of the bone walking but still pretty hypnotic

  • DEATH

  • Wow, I feel like you could watch that and then find meaning in your life. Very Zen.

  • Too much time on your hands? Perhaps....but this was soothing and hypnotic to watch. More?

  • wtf? how did you do this

  • WTFhow did u record this

  • That is unbelievable! How cool is that?

  • In artistic terms this shows the inner struggle that leg bones and thigh bones have with the inerds of turkeys. The mobility and outer sangtorum of the wishbone. Then again it could be that this object is just a plug for the band Wishbone Ash

  • hawkinsonian mechanization and the infinite

complexity of engineering on a human scale (eye hand material etc.)

    magnificently quixotic!!!!

  • hawkinsonian mechanization and the infinite

    magnificently quixotic!!!!

  • oh niCe bUt not last!!!See Al

  • i wonder if the chicken tasted good?

  • very cool, i like how from one perspective near the end it looks like the wishbone is walking along dragging the machine behind it like as punishment

  • what the hell is this this suck ASS!

  • eee!!! arthur ganson!!! i luv his stuff!!!! XD

  • Gestural Engineering:

    The Sculpture of Arthur Ganson.

    http://web.mit.edu/museum/exhibitions/ganson.html

  • nice please watch my movie

  • ah yes, i beleive these were used in the clinton-reagan war of '88. despite their slow pace and massive size, measuring in at about 80 feet tall, they were known to slaughter as many as 800 royal marines in one minute, making these tall beasts ministers of death and pain.

  • cool invention. but pretty useless.

  • nice!

  • sweet

  • kinda creepy. but neat.

  • What the... Woah cool stuff man , great machine man

  • powerful engeneering!

  • lol cool thats the only contemporaneous art i like

ou really liked mecano and those construcions toys didnt you?

  • lol ok that was different =)

  • simply strange- I LOVE IT! and no i havent been swimming in raw sewage..

  • Pretty cool. Soon we'll all have wishbones. Then we'll be sending them into space. Then what?

  • Amazing, as well as slightly disturbing, as one would perhaps expect a walking wishbone to be...

  • Awesome.

  • how lovely.

  • Nice

  • =)

  • Creative work! Your video is really good, remind me of some twisted machines world like Delicatessen or The City of Lost Children!

  • beautiful concept - beautiful machine - beautiful video.

  • Cool video. How long did this piece take you to make? I especially like the 3/4 point contact to the ground. The motor is the small part at the lower part of the back?

  • beautiful

  • just good.

  • small* wishbone

  • i think theres symbolism behind this. the huge machine is being led by an entire wishbone. perhaps it has something to do with if someone has a dream, or a desire / wish, you can go places. dunno thats just my thinking.

  • weird

  • lol, that's tripy. So very cool though...

  • Awesome...

  • Avante-Garde

The French word for vanguard. A group or work that is innovative or inventive on one or more levels: subject, medium, technique, style, or relationship to context.

An avant-garde work pushes the known boundaries of acceptable art sometimes with revolutionary, cultural, or political implications.

  • honestly, who does that? coo

  • thats weird and cool at the same time lol

  • oo! i saw this SAME thing on this other website, thats awsome!
