So Your YES means she has a FCI pedigre and is out of working lines of FCI breed, or that she has the pedigre of one of the working kelpie organisations? I am asking this because that is what I am searching for - working kelpie with ( full 3 generations) FCI pedigre(No hurry, I have three young dogs now, one of them is working kelpie :-) ).
Wow, my love dogs.!!!!! You see my dog in Poland, in 24 may on Seminar. She is mix Kelpie (brown colour). And its true, its very funny dog, very inteligent and very activ, who love work with people.
Yes! I would have asked you about her!!! Kes must be somehow an unusual kelpie, since it was very hard to train her! It took me months of hard work to get her to retrieve... But as far as I know, working kelpie are quite different from show lines...
I'm training wit my dog in Obedience, but never start with her in professions. She working very fast and the smaller my mistake, she immediately spotting , and show me. She very well reading body posture, and looking on my eye, observing, and talk:Wait a minute! It make absolutely no sense to me. I love her.

Yes! Kes is an australian kelpie from working lines! (Quite a funny dog to train :-)) )
