Emilie and Hannah are both amazing, but their songs are different. Emilie is a lot more visceral, I find, singing songs about what she feels, whereas Hannah sings more thought-related, story-telling songs.

I think that Hannah and Emilie are compared so much not because of necessarily how their music sounds, but because of their sort of unusual and haunting lyrics and how different they are compared to all of the other artists out there. There's no one like Hannah Fury, there's no one like Emilie Autumn, so they sort of go together. If that makes sense. BTW beautiful song. <3

Who cares if they LOOK alike. I have been listening to both musicians for quite some time and it seems in recent years, they're starting to gain a more fake tweenie fan base. I barely started listening to Hannah Fury's music and I agree with you. It's not that I don't like Emilie Autumn Not at all I think she's great. But I don't see the comparison in them both. And I barely started listening to them TODAY. But there both great artist with there OWN unique style!

I still don't think so xD but there are some details that just seam similar. I dunno if it is the sounds in the music, the main idea of the song or the weird wonderful (different) magic they both transmit.

It's (at least to me) all in how they display themselves. Like how they dress, and the sort of concepts they use. How they're both quite dark (though that's a very wide field) and how they take inspiration both from history, (Marie Antoinette, Victorian Asylums) and from the idea of escaping reality, with descriptions of pain endured, explaining and justifying the desire for escape. I'ma shut up now. Love them both :D
