@azzarbprime1 You open a hood on some new cars and it doesn't even look like an engine anymore. Whatever isn't covered in plastic, is covered in wires and hoses. I like the simplicity of older vehicles for sure. Thanks for watching, Mike.

I thought it was part of the deluxe package- deluxe interior and hood. I noticed that it had the deluxe seats and trim but no center console..??

my 68 fastback had the deluxe interior package with the hood and upper and lower center consoles. I might be mistaken, but I thought it was all part of the deluxe package. obviously, on a convertible, there would not be an upper map light console..lol

@TheBrotheraaron I used to have a 67 and the guy I was told that it was a 68 feature and that it was limited to a few 67s at the end of the year. therefore limited hood feature.

The 289 in 1968 was rare wasn't it? The 1968 Mustangs I saw were usually 302s.
