this works really well. I swim and have to shave. i mix mine in a 1 cup batch. for 4.68

you can get about 3 batches. by the way if the aspirin are non coated they will dissolve in about 30 minutes without crushing up. only thing i would add is not to use this if you suffer from an aspirin allergy

You do realize that the aspirin will absorb through the skin, right? You have to be really careful using this, especially if you use it often. If you use it a lot, you will bleed like crazy when you cut yourself or break the skin.

NEVER EVER EVER use it when you have a fever or a cold (ESPECIALLY if you are a teen).

The pharmacy... Rubbing alchool is real easy. It's more the 'witche's hazel' which might be a problem. It's a plant product so you might want to go to natural-product shops or body-shops for skin care and might find some.

The amount for the hazel compared to spending on 'TEND-skin' is still worth buying the ingrediants rather than the already mixed product.

This stuff worked like a charm for me. I get really bad ingrown hairs too, and while this doesn't completely prevent them, it does discourage them. What it DOES do is get rid of all my razor bumps and razor burn.

I put waaaay more salicylic acid (aspirin) in mine, though, about 10 aspirin per ounce of liquid. So for half a cup that would be 30-40 aspirin. It's super strong and very effective.
