  • Greenpeace should use harpoons

  • yeah to destroy the whale ship=D

  • Such Beaaaautiful creatures.

  • Jesuscience, Greenpeace and the Sea Shepherd are not related... they are two different entities. Thanks Greenpeace for this footage. It's beautiful!

  • I don't like the idea of whaling too, but please don't bash Japan in general. I hope your plan works.

  • we need to arm green peace with wepons also lol

  • and not just acid and gas..but with guns..or something cuz they are gonna keep coming back to get the whales and stuff

  • He is hot.

  • cool

  • Hey Kidz! Don't like what that funny-looking kid is eating for lunch? Throw butyric acid in their face. That's the Greenpeace/Sea Shepherd way!

  • i love whali8es!!!!!!!!!! save them!@ i love your boat! it will save them!

  • As Patrick Moore once said when he was president of greenpeace Canada,"it does not matter what is true,it only matters what people believe is true"

  • If you coolect money to SAVE THE WHALES then you should spend all the money on SAVING WHALES.greenpeace spends more on soliciting funds to save whales than they spend on actually sending a ship down to save whales.

  • wow thats shocking can you provide some data for that fact?

  • Its easy to find out facts about Greenpeace. Just ring them and ask. On average they bring in over 40 million a year to save whales. They havent been down to Antartica for 2 years. You can see the ad they run on our tv here on you tube with Antoney Hopkins. They have been running these ads every year. They arnt doing anything in Japan. Ask Earth Island. 25000 dolphins being killed anually in Taji sth Japan and NO Greenpeace. If they cant solve the Whaling they havent a shitshow with the climate

  • greenpeace brings in hundreds of millions of donations, they have tens of millions sitting in bank accounts around the world.they build themselves multi-million dollar office buildings and employ thousands of people.BUT THEY CANT STOP TWO WHALING SHIPS REFUELING AND WONT REFUEL THEMSELVES AND RETURN TO ANTARTICA TO SAVE OUR WHALES??

  • go Greenpeace .... you rock!!!!!

  • They are getting slaughtered every day in denmark, iceland, and (?) in the antartic (by the Japanese. Write a letter to the Japanese prime minister scolding him for allowing such primitive behavior and ask him to stop. Turns out they use the whale meat mostly for dogfood.

  • When I get a job I will donate!!

  • It's awe inspiring to see such animals! I hope someday to see them in the flesh. Greenpeace, keep up the good fight, and I will continue to support you guys.

  • awesome?

  • Ridicoulously graceful...

  • Greenpeace, you guys rock! I am proud to be a longtime member of such a noble organization of worthy causes. Thanks for producing and sharing such an amazing video. I live in Southeast Alaska and how I wish the people of this community would respect our ecosystem as much as Greenpeace does. Godspeed and stay safe!

    Ketchikan, AK.

  • AS an ex-denizen of Hawaii, I was so moved to see our friends the humpbacks having a life around you folks. I wonder what they think, I wonder whether they distinguish between the killer two-leggers and those who would defend them. I believe they do; they are, after all, at least as intelligent as we are (and they have a more pleasant hit parade). And you folks are the bravest two-leggers in the world! Blessings upon you!

  • Thankk you, Greenpeace, you eco-warriors! I too am against violence, especially violence against whales! We must do every thing we can to not be oriented solely to our own species. We humans are being challenged to evolve socially, and if we don't the future generations of other species and humans will all suffer. We have a responsiblity to stretch ourselves and open up and change.

  • Greenpeace is a great organization. Mr. Chang you are very unconscious and completely out of touch with your heart. Plus have you no awareness or knowledge of the importance of protecting and preserving this delicately balanced elegant Earth ecosystem we live within? Every species is important. Humpback Whales are a vital part and they are going extinct. They are a beautiful animal! It makes me sick and embarrassed to be human when a member of my species speaks so ignorantly. Wake up Howie!!!

  • Ah, you do not know me. I am actually an environmental science major, and even spent time doing ecological research at biosphere 2. No doubt that whales are important. But, Greenpeace's actions are an embarassment-Throwing acid at the japanese whalers, boarding their boat. It's no surprise two members of greenpeace has been taken hostage. They nothing more than environmental terrorists. I do not believe that every species is important. That statement has no backing.

  • Every living thing is sacred, Howard. That is wisdom which doesn't have to be documented by any scientist. How can you be an environmental science major and not care about protecting the whales? You might want to change careers. I was unaware that Greenpeace was throwing acid at people. That's wrong. I am against violence. Can you prove this? I believe the whalers must be stopped peacefully. So at least we agree on one issue.

  • hc79 - I need to correct you. Feel free to research this yourself.

No disrespect to anybody: It was actually Sea Shepard who had members taken hostage and tied to a mast for a few days, then released.

Trying to save crew members distracted them from saving whales. This is why Greenpeace is proudly non-violent.

I hope this puts to ease peoples concerns about Greenpeace committing violent acts. I believe in their causes and most importantly, their belief in non-violent action. Go Greenpeace!

  • Nob head!!

  • i would prefere to see a dead whale hunter washed up on the beach than a whale.

  • May the Ways of the World and the Whales of the World Work in Harmony! Way to go Esperanza! Homer Alaska USA
