I don't think the song ends by her killing herself. It's more like the guy saves her in the end by telling her that she still has a chance at life. Also, she seems to me like she has some kind of goal, and even though everything goes wrong she still tries even though she gets hurt in the end.

@Mizutista Kind of insensitive considering people are suffering and dying over there, but of yes, it's because YOU wanted to go to Japan it got hit with an earthquake, not the fact the entire country is a volcanic island arch on a plate boundary.
