maaaaaha... Heestan waxay ka mid tahay heeso badan oo uu sameeyey Xuseen Aw Farax 1960, isagoo ka turjamayey dadkii ku noolaa Som.land ee diiddanaa isku darka (midowga Hargeisa & Muqdisho). Dadka u riyaaqaayey midowgan ayuu ku tilmaayey shimbiro ( dad aragti gaaban)
@joogto adeer heestaan ma sameeyn xuseen aw farax, waxaa sameeyey xasan sheekh muumin, qisaduna waa shirkii 1963 ka dhacay adis ababa oo markaa lagu diidaday qadiyadii soomaaliweey, xasan (ahn) wuxuu markaa joogay oo ka shaqaynayey madheera, waxaana loo sheegay in shirkii madaxada Afrika ee adis lagu gudoomiye in xuduudaha loo daayo siday gumaystayaashu ugu tegeen... taasuna waxay lid ku ahay qadiyada soomaliweeyn. waa markaa marka uu tiriyey heestan oo uu leeyahay shirku waa shibirayow heesa...
lol this wasn't a love song, it was a political song directed at the corruption of the late president Sharmarke's parliament who was filled with croonies who did whatever he asked them, hint "shimbirayhow heesa" - meaning 'oh my dear little birds sing and do as i command of you" lol...birds=a metaphore for late president sharmarke's parliamentarians.
(God bless the somali poeticians/lyricist who couple some of the most beautifiul songs and poetry in sometiems hidden but beautiful words)
you are an idiot. sharmake was one of the two honest, loyal, patriot somalia presidents. stop spreading liars. not everything have to be politacally motivated.
Let's not get too defensive. Name calling is really "Elementary"--- I do not have a personal Agenda, and i do not have anything against our last dead president Sharmarke (Alla ya raxma). I was merely stating what i had learned of from elderly Somali politicians, who said that this was one of the Propaganda Songs directed to Sharmarke's gov't, by the new Said Barre(Alle ya raxma) Gov't
According to some somali politicians, his parliament was filled with "Yes" sayers.
As to when this song was made; it was during the Siad Barre Era(Alla ya raxma).
The Somali Big Brother Media had its tanticles so wide, that it usually slipped in few songs into airways that had a double meaning. The govt of the 70's was more influential in the Somali media, and had won over many singers/songwriters during the Somali Invasion of Ethiopia in the 70's. Where elaborate songs of war were written against the retreating ethiopians army.
i understand what you are saying, i even listen to songs that some legenday somali singers sang at that era, the only thing that i was disagreeing with you was that Sharmake was Corrupted. he is one of the two somali presidents (aside from the first president) that somalia see as honest and patriotic.

well we all know that somali elders spread propaganda. don't believe everything your hear. i don't think that this song was sang in the 60's
