Don't forget you can always jump start a bike from a car battery, my bike kicks like a mule when it's hooked up to my truck's 900 Cold Cranking amp Battery.
@newengland72 Your car may be able to put out more charging current than your motorcycle can handle. This would be specific to your motorcycle, as I've only seen this attempted with a bike from the '80's.
I really like your Clip Ons who makes it? Where did you buy it? How much? do you sell them or can you tell me where to buy this kind. Seems like you just put it on without having to adjust your front fork. Looks like it can fit my Duc 750 1998 Monster. Your reponce will be greatly appreciated. thanks.
That is not a kick start, that is a bump start or push start. A kick start means starting a bike with its kick start lever (assuming it has one, which yours and most newer ones don't).
The beautiful thing about the battery on this bike is that it doesn't necessarily need to be replaced unless the battery is abused or neglected for too long. You can simply buy the alkaline solution from your local auto shop for a whopping price of $3.75. From there it is a simple matter of recharging the battery with a trickle charger over night. Or most auto shops will recharge it for you at no cost. Good tip on starting it though.. you never know.
what if your battery dies after you stop for a bite to eat and there isn't a shop nearby? scenarios like that is where this is helpful so you can get the bike started and go get the battery replaced
How confertable is it to ride a bike of that kind

@newengland72 NOT on all bikes. You can damage the stator on some bikes doing this

@mobbedstude How so? I am not that familliar with how electricity works.
As a note I took the cables off as soon as I got it started, but I could see a potential problem if they were left on.

@mobbedstude That makes sense but, I had my truck's engine off. Would this still apply?

Out of curiosity, why don't you just replace the battery instead of doing all of that?

That was directed to the guy in the vid who said that his battery had been dead for a while and he hasn't replaced it.

My gosh, reshoot the video and get heck out of the wind next time. You can't understand half or what was said, due to the wind blowing.
