Dog thing is correct! Betty Bop was originally a Poodle, and Bimbo her boyfriend, but the cartoon design was considered very "Ugly" so they altered her, but kinda left him.
It seems to me that Gus Wickie (that classic bluto voice) did alot of voice work for the villians in these. Can antone confirm this?
