If you are going to be promoting a 5 string bass don't you think it would make sense to use the B string for something other than a thumb rest? E through G sound very nice but I haven't got a clue if the B string rings clear or not. Also, there are several "sweet spots" on a Jazz type bass for playing finger style. Working exclusivley over the bridge pickup provides a very narrow idea of the possible tones for this bass.
