  • @killervenom2478 The brush and paint are nothing special, cheap stuff bought at National Bookstore. But the paint for the webs? That was actually a TOOTHPICK. Plumber's sealant clay for that one spider logo, gel superglue for the other. Have fun making yours!

  • @viribus2010 thats funny he said im going to make him BLACK!!

  • Great work What paint did u use for that awesome custom man?

  • what figure did you use cause im trying to find it and do what you did

  • @vampiro1901 It's a Spider-Man 2 figure. I don't remember the accessories. But Spiderskater3 thinks it's web trap spidey.

  • that looks like web trap spidey from spidey 2 not spidey 3.

  • @spiderskater3 Yes it is a Spider-Man 2 figure, coz like I said in the intro, the Spidey 3 figures are too small. I wanted a black Spider-Man that could stand with the other movie figures. I don't remember its exact name, so you could be right about it being "web trap" Spidey.

  • Cool!

  • wow you must be related to Hunter Knight ill have mines up soon... check me out regularly to see what i have

  • @agboy061 From a local store called National Bookstore. I kid you not.

  • well,i think the new marvel universe movie spider-man has the raised webbing

  • if you could do this ,could you do the marvel universe one, cause i think it will be freaking awesome!

  • @batmobile89 Is there a Marvel Universe one with raised webbing? That's the only way it would work. I can't exactly paint the webbing if it's etched in like grooves.

  • I am thinking about re-painting some old toys. But I am afraid the paint will give off. Do you think Acryl-paint will hold it?

  • The one you repainted is from the Spider-Man 2 movie toy line.Must have been a repackage

  • @anakinfan8 Yes, I know it's from the Spider-Man 2 line. I did mention in the video that the Spider-Man 3 line size is too small.

  • your good you did a better job than they made it originally

  • I custom painted a movie green goblin to be the hobgoblin but when I movie the joints the paint comes off

  • IS THAT BUILD A FIGURE SANDMAN SERIES spiderman?

  • well done

  • me too im filipeno PINOY AKO

  • what is sealant exactly? and in what kind of shops can you get it?

  • Sealant is the clay-like stuff that hardens when it dries. It's used to seal holes in leaky pipes and roofs. You can buy it at hardware shops. The kind I used gave me two clays that had to be mashed together before it would start hardening. Hope that answers your question.

  • yes it does thanks

  • where do you buy doust paint

  • How did you get him to stick to the wall please respond

  • It's just poster putty. Kneaded rubber eraser will work too.

  • where do u get acrylic paint?

  • any hobby shop, dude.

  • specificly?

  • I buy at National Bookstore. Don't know if that's in your country. I live in the Philippines.

  • ohh cool im Filipino to

  • What did you use to remake the spider symbol legs

  • For the spider on the back, I used sealant, the kind of putty for fixing a leaky roof or pipe. For the spider on the front, i dabbed on a few layers of superglue gel.

  • cool, i'll try that

  • 2:25 I spotted a small red dot

  • how much are these paints?

  • not much you can gets diffrent size paint brushes and 12 bottles of the paint fo about 5£ of ebay if you live in england that is enet way

  • dude that is pimp!

  • thats awsome

  • fucken sweet dude!!!

wish i could do the same to mine

  • hey...can u show how to repaint a optimus prime? do i have to dissamble all the parts before i start painting n spraying it? need help really

  • Hi my name is Jason and I have a Spiderman 3 3/4 inch figure and his paint is actually coming off. Do alot of figures paint come off? I am new to collecting figures. Is it possible for a company (Only) to paint such a small figure? I just thought it would be hard since he has those web designs on his costume.

  • what paint do you use please tell

  • ACRYLIC PAINT. You can see it on the bottle label. That's it, I'm adding annotations on this video.

  • the black spiderman you made lookes real

  • do you mold it only with plumbers sealant or do you mix the plumber sealant with epoxy??

  • separately. i used epoxy for the spider logo on the front, and sealant for the logo on the back.

  • im guessing acrylic is the best paint to use for customizing figures? i m not sure what paint i use but its shit, it stays sticky for monthes, and it rubs off.....

  • Does the action feuture get in the way of the articulation?

  • very awesome, diligent, and all around cool. I like how you individually greyed each strand on the figure. another way of getting a cool effect on your figure is to do the whole thing in grey and black wash it afterwards with a black sealant.

  • if i send mine 2 you can you paint it and make it look just like urs?

  • i dont get how you changed the spider

  • cut off the old legs, mold new ones out of plumber's sealant and epoxy.

  • what paint did u use

  • acrylics

  • Comment removed

  • figure looks sweet

nice painting, did you water it down slightly so it doesn't clump?

i suppose you sealed it too, as you are able to move the joints without removing paint

for a second i was like why are you cutting the spider logo, so what was that all about?

    anyway, nice job 10/10

  • Actually, no to both. The acrylic paints I used don't clump. I didn't seal it but paint rubbing off is very minimal. I cut the legs off the logo and molded new ones out of plumber's epoxy. Black Spider-Man's logo is different from the red&blue costume, so I altered it.

    thanks for the compliments.

  • ah i didn't notice they were different logos

yeah i know that acrylic paints are really tough, but if it doesn't rub off, then you've got super tough paint there

  • can you do ironman next?

  • wow teach me how to paint like that cool toy

  • thats cool i want to do that but im saving for a xbox360

  • Anything could chip when dropped on concrete! :) If you dropped it on, let's say, a marble-tiled floor from waist-level, good chance it will be OK. Acrylic paint is durable, but I can't guarantee if it's dropped around, know what I mean?

  • 1. The paint should be fine unless you plan on rough play. Acrylic paint can scratch at worst.

    2. I recommend acrylic paint, but don't cake it on. Apply thin layers, let it dry, then add more as needed.

  • that you used paint?

  • it's acrylic paint.

  • I did my own, but it looks fake. Yours looks like you bought it. It is still okay though.

  • Awsome!!! Your totally right!
