  • They're off to Norway.. Oh yes!

  • Dorothee? A Charitable Earth? ACE? Hahahaha!

  • Why didn"t the key get screwed up just by the fact that the key they both remember looks different? 3rd Dr. and 4th Dr.'s keys were different shapes.

  • at 4:18, I love the smell of barbecued Shansheeth, LOL

  • Katy Manning has remained adorable as well. While Pertwee was not my favorite doctor, the story arcs being kind of dull during his tenure as The Doctor, he did have a hot companion in Jo Grant.

  • What season is this episode?

  • Victoria was left on Earth at age 16 in the year 1965. RTD missed her.

  • I can't belive Sarah Jane (the person who plays her) is 65! She looks so young, and so in shape (: (: (:

  • @giabraccia I am really sorry, but judging by your comment,I see that you didn't hear the news.Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane) passed away in April. If you didn't know that, sorry, and if you did, yes, she was brilliant and very youthful...

  • @doctorwho060alice Um.... I knew that!!!!! I mean't 'was' ! O.O

  • @giabraccia sorry.tenses.Sure are complicated. ;)

  • So this was not the last episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures. What episode is the last one?

  • "Smith and Jones" nice refrence ;)

  • I love how RTD got to write for the 11th doctor XD

  • oh wow i love matt smith but i love david tennant more...

    (:

  • I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for posting

  • love how the Groske stands there doing a countdown then gets to one and goes like oh yeah, i better bloody move now lol xx

  • Dorothy runs a company called A Charatable Earth. A.C.E.

Always wondered what became of her.

  • i love the part where she tells us about the older companions. :) IAN AND BARBRA!!!!!!

  • rani and clyde would make very, very good companions.

  • they never mentioned suzan! Why didn't they mention her?

  • @DoctorWhoAwsomness Susan was left in the future. From Sarah Jane's perspective, Susan's life after the Doctor hasn't happened yet.

  • @BlackMonk66 oh yes thats right! I forgot that that episode was set in the future!!!

  • Love Matt Smith in this. He somehow maganes to be the same old doctor and completely himself. Brilliant!

  • I love how they completely ignored the fact that Colonel thingmy died. Usually they're a wee bit sad over it :')

  • I almost cried when Jo Grant mentioned the Timelords. She doesn't know and The Doctor doesn't have the hearts to tell her.

  • "If you ever died, we'd feel it somehow... we'd just know" And to think, I'm watching this with the Series 6 finale only a week away.

  • The Doctor: *coughs* What do you mean The Mona Lisa? - 3 minute reaction much!

"The coffin was the trap, the coffin was the solution. That's so neat I could write a thesis!" - That was an awesome line!

  • Dunno whats up with me lately. I almost shed a tear watching the Doctor say goodbye to Amy and Rory then I watch this for the first time and almost shed a tear knowing Sarah Jane (Elizabeth Sladen) got to be on an episode with the latest doctor and say her goodbyes before going on the biggest adventure of them all. Although I wasn't a massive fan of the Sarah Jane Adventures I'll remember this episode for a long time.

  • BEST SJA EVER! clips of old adventures, this is the cast at their finest!

  • What is this? Some kind of spin off thing? Have I missed an episode or what?

  • @JfernandesTV It's a spinoff "thing" called "The Sarah Jane Adventures," which ran for nearly five years.

  • @atomicmrpelly she never dies in series 4, what gave you that idea?

  • @TheDisInfectant In the Stolen Earth when they are conference calling somebody says something about the Daleks being able to trace them, and she says she's diverted the signal so that they'll find her first and then a Dalek does just that... doesn't he?!

  • @atomicmrpelly no thats the 'former prime minister harriet jones' i think thats her name, they look alike a guess. my brother gets confused cause of the redish hair.

  • @LEXIspaceRULES OH!!! My apologies to Miss Sarah Jane Smith, and Harriet Jones former Prime Minister for that matter!!!

  • Also how is Sarah Jane still there? I thought she died at the end of series 4!

  • @atomicmrpelly Elisabeth Sladen died while filming Series 5.

  • The Blonde woman's mouth is too big.

  • @atomicmrpelly Her name is Katy Manning, the character she plays is Josephine "Jo" Grant-Jones, she spent three years as a member of U.N.I.T. before marrying a scientist, she's one of the most popular "Doctor Who" companions ever, and shut up.

  • @MaskedMan66 haha that's a really sweet reaction. Didn't mean to offend it just jumped out at my somewhat!

  • @atomicmrpelly LOL No problem; Katy/Jo has always been my favorite Who Girl, and I do tend to leap to her defense if I think someone's dissing her. Sorry if I jumped out at you too! :-)

  • Not sure I like the idea of Ian and Barbara having not aged; frankly, I'd have thought it more respectful to have Barbara as dearly departed, just like her portrayer Jacqueline Hill. As for Ian, wouldn't it be fun to have William Russell Enoch back to play Ian with him now as the grumpy old man and the Doctor as the dashing young adventurer?

  • @MaskedMan66 Now THAT would be brilliant!

  • @ZoomingSkittles89 Thanks!

  • So either Dodo or Ace is now a billionaire, eh? In the one instance, "Gear!" and in the other, "Wicked!"

  • The only thing I didn't like was Jo and Sarah's uncharacteristic callousness in not trying to save Col. Karim; there'd have been room for her in that casket.

  • @LoveTimeLord What is RTD's obsession with those names?

  • Lol when the doctor says come along smith remind u of anything

  • @ben10fanforeve 'come along pond!' ;)

  • 1.14 - 1:15 How can Sarah Jane remember the Sixth Doctor? As far as I know, they never met... and I'm normally pretty engaged at Who Fandom.

Actually, scrath that, i just was able to stop the video at the correct position and saw that it was, in fact, not Six. I'll still post this comment, though, so other people don't make the same mistake.

  • Continuity Porn at its best!

  • @NevillesGran1 Out of the gutter, you. Don't crap all over our fond memories.

  • yay more flashbacks! 8)

  • @awesomeinuyashagirl even though Sarah Jane Smith and Jo Grant are in danger, u can't help but smile seeing all the great old flashbacks that they have..!! i LOVE the classic doctor whos and the new ones!!!!!!!!♥♥♥

  • I missed Jo. She was my favorite companion of the Third Doctor's. This one makes me misty eyed all the time.

And then there's Lis Sladen... gah... God rest her blessed soul.

  • @OnionMan i know i cried too

  • was just thinking today when the new episodes would come out, than I read that Elisabeth has died 2 months ago... It's really sad, and I'm going to miss her.

    R.I.P. Elisabeth Sladen

  • i love his laugh at 4:50 ! :D

  • Are you people crazy what are you people talking about Elisabeth Sladen die. She is young woman gees. She's NOT dead.

  • @amycallie123 Don't you watch the news? She died about a month ago from cancer :(

  • @UliothFTW SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ELISABETH SLADEN. BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS I WAS SO BUSY TALKING ON THE PHONE WITH MY FRIEND. I HAVEN'T WATCHED THE NEWS. AT LEAST SHE'S WITH HER 3RD DOCTOR WHO JON PERTWEE. MY DAD DIED FROM CANCER AS WELL.

  • Been a while since I last watched these episodes. Forgot that even William Hartnell (First Doctor) and Patrick Troughton (Second Doctor) got mini-cameos. :)

R.I.P Elisabeth Sladen. Still miss her. :(

  • That is why you don't build self-destruct

    Features on your devices.

  • They just pulled an Indiana Jones. -_-

  • When Shansheeth die who conducts their funerals?

I need a Dream Weave apparatus so I don't have to cook dinner anymore.

RIP Elisabeth Sladen. Thank you for our memories.

  • It seems like both the times the doctor(s) have made cameos into this theres been some kind of underlying sad aspect that you can relate to Elisabeth Sladen's death.

With David Tennant there's quite a sad ending where they speak of how they're unsure if they'll ever cross paths again and in this episode with Matt Smith there's all the memories of her adventures and their times together...

R.I.P Elisabeth Sladen, I hope her family are okay

  • Lis' death is very tragic but the show remains unresolved. Maybe it will become the Jo Jones Adventures?

  • Just found this episode, and it's quite the coincidence, the theme of this episode, given events that have taken place both in real life (RIP Elisabeth Sladen... you will never be forgotten by all Whovians!) and in Doctor Who (Series 6..."Spoilers!")

  • R.I.P Sarah Jane/Elizabeth Sladen

  • jo is such a fun hippie chick

  • In this episode it was said that if the Doctor were to ever die,"the entire universe would probably shiver." The same could be said for Sarah Jane. R.I.P. Elisabeth Sladen.

  • .... No... But you are R.I.P

  • why didn't the doctor remember that the TARDIS opens when he snaps his fingers

  • Can't believe that Elisabeth died today. She left us too soon.

But I know a soul as good as hers cannot truly perish. She's in the stars now, doubtless still travelling and making a difference. As she and Sarah Jane did in real life.

I'm going to watch Genesis of the Daleks, School Reunion, Stolen Earth, Journey's End again to honour her memory. Rest in Peace.

  • @MrDCWood I keep dreaming about having adventures with Elisabeth Sladen and bcos the adventures seemed so real, although I didn't no her, it feels like I've lost a close friend.

However Wen I have these dreams, and wen I watch these episodes, It's like she's come back 2 lif and I can feel her presence.

  • @CuddleBabe

I know what you mean. Elizabeth and Sarah Jane have that power.

  • Very Saddened to hear today of the death of Elisabeth Sladen. I remember way back in the 1970's when she left the 4th Doctor at the end of "The Hand of Fear". That was my first experience of heartbreak. The news today has broke back the feeling. I am so glad that we got to see her again in Doctor Who and SJA. Rest in Peace Lis. Goodbye My Sarah Jane x

  • never ben forgotten liz she is an amzing character

  • You will never be forgotten Lis.

  • yay, kfc time!

  • So i come to watch this because i never saw it as i don't watch SJA, and i walk away thinking one thing: Why the rotten hell did they use the mid flight / Remat sound as a take off sound, there wasn't even a launch thud. RTD ran DW for 4 years and his post team onb this cant even get the most important noise in the whole mythos correct?

  • WHEN IS THIS COMING TO THE STATES???

  • They need to bring back Harry (even though the original actor is dead) and then he can marry Sarah Jane and call her Old Girl again, i found them so cute =D

  • @LexiiAlison I think it was implied that the character died too, because he was the only one she referred to in the past tense :(

  • HELL YES!!! Bring back Ian and Barbara! They were the BEST!!! Oh so awesome... Just a taste for those who haven't seen their episodes: Ian was knighted by Richard the Lionhearted, invented the Vulcan Death Grip, threw a guy off a pyramid, invented fire, and was the first human ever to defeat a Dalek; Barbara smashed alien brain creatures, was worshipped as a goddess, and drove through and crushed a barricade of Daleks in a firetruck. Two BAMFs. Oh BBC, please bring them back! Please!

  • Ha Big Bang! lol. I never noticed the Smith & Jones reference. I love how the Doctor calls her just Sarah all the time! I love Tegan! lol.

  • When was this released I want to see it but I'm in America and without BBC I rely on the Internet and DVDs which end up taking like a whole stinkin year to come out. Anyways I just wanted to know so that I can expect when to get it

  • Ian and Barbara never aged? Inteaging. Barbara was always a MILF.

  • There was no reason for the Doctor to not just come out and say get in the coffin. That was pretty nasty thing to do.

  • oh no, Jo...you just didn't mention the Timelords...

does Sarah Jane know about Gallifrey?

  • @GriffithAMPS yes watch Doctor who series 2 school reunion

  • @GriffithAMPS Yes she does...

  • lol what do you mean the mona lisa?

  • what do you mean the mona lisa?

  • what is the tardis going to do to them

  • That UNIT woman looks a bit like Kim Kardashian! =)

  • "smells like roast chicken." oh my god i fell to the floor crippled with laughter :)

  • Nice follow up on the various companions. Being a First Doctor fan, it's good to hear that Ian and Barbara did well (and got married! I knew it!). I've been hoping to actually see William Russell turn up in the show some day.

  • It was directed by Russell T Davies I miss him

  • @benToddTv It was written by Russell, Directed by Ashley Way.

  • do u no wen there was an explosion there was only 1 shansheeth and there was 3 and i feel sorry 4 the unit lady (a bit)

  • Jo is just a bundle of joy! Its a shame that Luke couldn't get to see the new doctor, though :(
