  • This was the best opening to me

  • I don't know why everyone be hating on this series, i for one really enjoyed it. i believe the character designs are a selective taste, but the whole series was a refreshing original take on the batman legacy

  • Loved this series. None of that sugarcoated crime fighting crap they have in cartoons nowadays. And this intro was super badass. <3

  • Something tells me the reason they changed this theme later on to something more akin to the Adam West TV was because of the parents finding this to disturbing for their precious little angels.

  • I actually think this may be one of the worst Freeze iterations to date.

  • @TheBardsSongCGS Brave and the bold beats it by a mile.

  • A rather interesting take on the Joker (applause for originality). But lets face reality: NO ONE WILL EVER OUT PERFORM MARK HAMILL!!!

  • Some of The Edge's best work...

  • what channel is his show on because cartoon networks putting shit on by shit i mean horrable crap like oh god were do i start

  • @freaskydoodle999 :P Adventure Time, The Rugular Show, MAD, shall I go on? What happened to the old CN? Stuff like Dexter's Laboratory, Ed Edd n Eddy, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, and Camp Lazlo. I miss shows like that! btw, you can find The Batman on Boomerang. It's channel 210 on cable. Don't know about the others, though.

  • @Ilovecaptainjack224 yea but i dont think it comes on boomerang because i looked at the secdual and didnt find it i know terrable speller

  • Intro 1 > Intro 2. I dunno, x 1,000,000?

  • i fucking love this intro, the animation and music go well , on my opinion anyway... batgangg

  • Still my favourite one <3

  • Mister Freeze was so Hood at 32-34

  • god tier intro, shit tier revamped villains

  • holy shit. i remember this intro and the show. ah, memories.

  • @BTR500 Lol the 90's was the one I grew up with, I can't say I like this Batman more than the one from that one, though.

  • @SergentMonopolyMan ok. well i don't know anything about the 90s version of batman.

  • 0:46 gave me nightmares....

  • The joker is wierd

  • i love the part from 0:07 - 0:39 most, cos after that it just gets a bit too tense, and i like the way the part sounds better because it shows a deep feeling of the detective-night hero- version of batman

  • Mr. Freeze looks so badass...

  • @thewolfkiba Thats because he IS badass.

  • Why does Catwoman always look like a chipmunk in the cartoons?

  • One of th reasons why I hated this was because there was no two face or Harvey.

  • B-man forever! Well, until robin and batgirl joined...

  • I loved that show! Of course the classics will always be better but this was pretty good for what it was worth. I liked the art.

  • La idea de The Batman es diferente, nos muestra un Batman en sus inicios, joven y que va ganando experiencia poco a poco

  • This show started in a way none of the other Batman cartoons had done up to this point, it made the Batman completely at odds with the Police forces for a whole two seasons, and anyone helping him in the force was punished and berated for it. I also liked the fact he was alone. Also, I do like the fact that it was a little more fun without being that kind of Brave and the Bold stupidity.

  • don't like the art design of the characters at all, made it almost unwatchable for me... Joker looks like Sonic the Hedge Hog...

  • This had Potential until the joker had no infectious laugh like mark hammil's joker...BTAS is still the best....

  • This is a cool theme. I remember watching these at 7:00 Saturday mornings

  • the deepest one of the all agree me with a thumbs up

  • This show will never be able to live up to The Animated series of the 90's

  • @0KAIndigo0, yeah, we've heard that the first 3000 times.

you can stop bringing that up.

And besides, don't even compare anything else to BTAS

  • not the best Batman cartoon ever......but I dont think it was as bad as some people made out and this intro is frickin cool

  • anyone knows where to watch full episodes of this online?

  • This series was so awesome and addicting that that I literally watched all of the seasons online. This is probably one of the best Batman cartoons I've seen right next to the 90s show.

  • the moment I saw the Joker... I knew this was a joke

  • @WebSlingerZX

I dunno I actually liked there version of the Joker.

Part of the fun of the show was how the re imagined a lot of the characters and shook them up a bit.

  • This was the best show i remember this

  • Dam ! Only Alfred begins to be old !

  • not the biggest fan of this series... I did like this series' catwoman though

  • @ryanthecalvinist Think the best was the one wore by Michelle Pfeiffer on Batman 2. My only cosplay fetichism.

  • i kinda like the old villans like the bane mr freeze

  • Batman is awesome

  • I like how most of his villians look in this series. So different. It just takes a bit to get used to it.

  • The Batman's season 1 and 2 are awsome, really epic. I even like this new Batgirl, season 3 still had a little of the true "the batman". But season 4 and 5 kinda sucked, the justice league members and robin, dosen't fit with show

  • THE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATMAN!

  • i get goosebumps from listening to this

  • Given that The Edge wrote this song it would be the coolest thing if he played it out of nowhere at a U2 concert.

  • the animated series were better

  • love this show.

  • I really liked this show but batgirl and robin just took it down hill...

  • the only issue i had wit this sho is that the joker didnt wear shoes and no two face or scarcrow. other than this sho was beast

  • batman rockzz !!!!!

  • Really wished they used this theme for the later intros.

  • This one is much more darker then the later one and really brings you deeply into it, getting ready for the tales of the dark night. The later one is more "cool" sorta but not as artistic as this one.

The new one is still great though, mixing little old with new (I totally get a Adam West feeling from the new inro heh)

  • can u give us a link for a download ??? mp3

  • esta serie estaba re buena

  • when was this show made?

  • @theanson50 Bout 2004 to 2007 or 08.

  • top 3 batman cartoons:

    Batman Animated series

    Batman Beyond

    The Batman

  • I remember waking up at 8:00pm to watch this on toonatik. good times.

  • Too bad that they change this cool theme to the some BS music on the third season.

  • It's like watching the Batman TAS again but with a more modern setting. I have to agreed tough that I don't like Joker's look.

  • Love this intro, especially the end. Great stuff. Wish it still came on

  • I remember thinking this batman was the best until batman vs dracula. The line where dracula throws a beaten up batman to the floor and says "I'll drink you dry and use your cape for a napkin!" Then I gave up on this batman.

  • good show. good intro. good batman. rubbish joker.

  • Used to watch this on cartoon network and toonami about 6-7 years, yeah I knew about Batman TAS but I am born in the mid-1990s so it was hard to remember, so I mainly grew up with this batman series, which was not bad.

  • 0:33

    Mr. Freeze: Destructo Disc!!!

  • So edgy. So spooky. The best Batman theme ever-- movies or TV-- and they dumped it after two seasons. Still, Batgirl Begins and A Matter of Family are among my favorite adventure cartoon episodes. Ever.

Funny, my daughter and I watched a lot of Jackie Chan Adventures and, I didn't realize they were designed by the same guy.

I don't know what all the hoopla is about "re-writing" the Batman story. That's been going on since forever. In The Dark Knight Returns, the Joker gets killed! Hello!

  • i liked this show because the core elements of batman were kept but the creators put their own spin on his story. this is the youngest bruce wayne i've seen in any cartoon and joker, along with other well-known villains, look radically different from their mainstream comic counterparts. but the remakes worked against the modern, almost near-future backdrop of gotham.

  • no matter what it looks like, the batmobile has always been the hottest car on tv.

  • In my opinion they should have used Mr. Freezes original origin and Banes original design for this show. IThose were the only things that really bugged me in this show.

  • where i can find this show episodes?????

  • this is my favorite the batman intro

  • One of the best theme tunes in the history of cartoons. LIL!!!

  • I miss this...

  • So much potential...until Robin and Batgirl appeared.

  • @blackflame100 Aw. I still liked it when they showed up. :p

  • @Maloguh It wasn't a complete disaster, but I'm saying, it became more ab0out them (and their "comedy") and less about The Batman.

  • @blackflame100 Defianetly agreed

  • @blackflame100 not really. still was my favorite.

  • @blackflame100 i blame parents, they ruin everything good

  • @Supermegaman737 Yep, if they think kids should not watch something, they should be responsible for controlling what they watch.

  • @blackflame100 its that simple, and with stuff like the v-chip it makes it easier, but some are just that stupid

  • I think the way how Freeze was drawn in this show was really.......cool (no bad ice pun intended) in my opinion wasn't as good as the original series from the 90's but still fairly respectable

  • No hero is cool and high-tech as Betmeeeen

  • I didn't like this show at first but now I think its pretty good.

  • This show was so underrated.

  • @xFIRERUSHx and now thers batman the brave and the bold, the biggest piece of trash i have ever seen

  • @saari985 It got cancelled in August or September of 2011. They are moving on to a darker, more serious show similar to B:TAS, Beyond, and The Batman.

  • @xFIRERUSHx oh snap i didnt know that :P well good, sounds alot better than that hunk of crap. its like an adam west version of batman with cartoon action figures. it was so annoying but im glad they are reformating it cuz the batman was a different but still darker step in the animation series, but i still miss the olld series and all of its epicness

  • @saari985 Yeah. I hate The Brave and the Bold and the comics it is based. Robin is already his partner, why does he need to team up with more. And the voice acting is miscast. Dexter's Dad from Dexters Lab/Johnny Bravo voices the Joker and Has Del Gato from Billy and Mandy voices Batman. Let's hope this new show is good.

  • @xFIRERUSHx BTBTB was a good show. Sure, it was campy, but that's because there will probably never be another Dark Batman show as good as BTAS or New Adventures. BTBTB was a love letter to silver-age comics and didn't take itself too seriously at all. You had to admire it for being humourous and staying so loyal to the comics.

  • @xFIRERUSHx

    That's putting it nicely.

  • Most of the people that watched the old series (If not all), seen to not like the Joker that is shown in this series, reason being that he is much more of a madman with a painted face than a mad super villain, but in my opinion, both Jokers are great, the old one for having a calculating and daring madness, while this one for having a wild and unstable type of insanity.

  • I kinda liked this show, not more then TAS, Only if they got Kevin Conroy to play Batman again, the show would have been better

  • The intro was done by U2's Edge. I liked this intro better than the one that followed.

  • Bruce Wayne looks too young in this series. Joker just looks stupid. bare feet? Just call him monkey man or something he ain't no Joker.

  • @nano69ify It's like Nolan's movies, presenting a young Bruce Wayne becoming the Dark Knight. Joker... ermm.... I'm going what you said but like the other characters

  • @creedjeremy Hmm, i remember Bruce rarely smiling, this series he smiles 50%, He reminds me of that one guy from that stupid Ben 10 Alien Force, not the main but his friend. I remember watching the Joker episode. it was really, really, stupid. Joker does jump around alot like a damn monkey. I was brutally disappointed and never watched the show. But then again the WB always put in sneak peaks.

  • @nano69ify i always hated the jokers voice in the series,

  • @Mrcool210 Yeah he sucks, This ain't no joker. I mean hes got the insane part but hes not even funny. Joker doesn't make stupid jokes. Thats what this dude did the whole series. Disgrace to voice as Joker.

  • miss this show :(

  • i wonder do you know if there is a soundtrack for this show? or where i can find a link to the theme from the joker?

  • This was way better than the other one.

  • i think they should have just kept this intro for the entire (song only)

  • I love Joker's designs(love the new direction their going for)Penguin's design and Mr.Freeze's design.

  • Guys who did this shpuld make a BloodRayne cartoon

  • This was cool unting they put Robin and changed the intro to the "batmaaaaaaan!" one.

  • This cartoon series sticks closer to the original character "The Batman", introduced in 1939 in Detective Comics, than any other I've seen. Superman was DC Publishing's big star in 1938, but Superman's comic magazine was Action Comics. Something that a lot of people don't know is that The Batman was conceived as a character closer to Sherlock Holmes than Superman. He was a crime detective. In the WB series "The Batman" one of his old nemisis actually calls him "detective". Gotta love it.

  • I watched Saturday morning cartoons from 1957 to 2007 (when I gave up, because there was nothing left). The theme music to The Batman is on my all-time favorite list of TV Themes; not just cartoon themes, but all TV themes. So, naturally, in season 2 the producers changed it to a theme that would appeal to a younger demographic. This original song is edgy and gorgeous and wonderful. But that's not all. (see next comment)

  • this batman was the best but the orginals are better, but still it's good

  • everytime at the end where it says "the batman" chills run down my spine lol

  • Best intro EVER in batman series!

    6/5 :D

  • i loved this serie! u.u all villians were great! D:<

  • 0:13 Apple Iphone

  • ......BATMAN......

    0:45 NICE !!!

  • pro: good series

con: the main reason of the bat embargo in jlu

  • From this jocker i got my name :)

  • nostalgia!!

  • THE GAZMENNN

  • I cant find this series on internet i can just find the animated series

  • i love this series more than any batman..but they are still awesome..my favorite movie from this series is BAtman vs DRacula

  • I'm a 90's kid and as you can imagine, I prefer B:TAS to this.I will never ever rip on this show, though, cause every generation of kids needs the Goddamn Batman in their childhood. Sure, maybe the characters were drawn different, and some of them were interpreted different, but the most important part that gets through to these kids is that Batman is the good guy and it's fucking awesome to be the good guy. And that's what they need to take away from this show in order to build a better world.

  • @NinjaRafter I agree with you completely. Everyone needs to grow up with Batman. Also the Batman from this show was my first interpretation of his character.

  • @NinjaRafter You are awesome for posting this and I feel the same as well.

  • @NinjaRafter Damn straight Batman must be every dc fans hero HELL EVERY KIDS HERO Batman's story is so simple a kids parents get killed he vows revenge and fights crime

  • R.I.P Kids WB you will always be remebered as the king of saturday morning TV

  • the cape was huge

  • superb!

  • Awesome, I remember when i watched this when i was a kid.. wait, I always watch this :) the best intro for one of the best SuperHeroes IMO

  • This intro is amazing

  • The new batman is nothing compared to the 90's but it was a decent effort at a reboot. The thing that made the old series so great is that most of the villains didnt actually have powers. Newer series however (league of superheroes or whatever the heck its called) are just taking the piss. I love the intro music to this show.

  • haha looks like he's driving a lambo

  • Well its Bruce wayne... He could be...

  • @FlameG102 no i meant the batmobile for the show kinda resembles a lambo lol

  • @Turok676 Lol, Again; Its Bruce Wayne. He's got the dough to have a Lambo Batmobile.

  • @FlameG102 oh im pretty sure bro lol but my opinion thats the second coolest batmobile behind the tumbler lol

  • @Turok676 Yeah it is pretty cool. Its a welcome change to see him driving a more sports like car.

His second one isnt too shabby either.

  • @FlameG102 i agree bro, the tumbler was a combination of a humvee and a lambo plus its more functional than any other land vehicle i've seen haha

  • @Turok676 I actually meant the one in The Batman, which he makes after the first one is totalled in his run in with Gearhead; but The Tumbler is cool too.

  • @FlameG102 ooooo ok. cool man, i really should watch em then lol

  • Hell I could walking banging to this shit over and over the whole day and I ain't never tired of this shit

  • in this intro mr freeze looks awesome

  • the only problem i ever had with this batman series was the backstory they gave Mr Freeze. Rather than making him a shakespearian tragedy, they make him a diamond thief? lame....

Besides that, the series was pretty awesome

  • @Bulldan they did deepen clayface's character.

  • @penguinsarebeast33 Fair point, i did like the Clayface in this series, it was a pretty interesting retelling.

  • @Bulldan thanks, but again they did change a bit of Batman's character. His voice actor was good I guess, and I liked Gordon better in this one, but the sidekicks of The Batman annoyed me.

  • @Bulldan True, mr. Freeze's original history is a legendary tale in the Batman universe, and they threw it away shamelessley. But his looks were COOL!

  • And if you listen really closely to the second intro, you'll hear a piece of the 1966 Batman theme song underneath the main theme!

  • I'm just speculating here, but I'm guessing they changed the theme because it was neither heroic sounding, nor exciting enough for a cartoon show. The music HAS to have some kind of excitement factor in the music that revs you up for the show. Examples: New Adventures of Superman/Batman,JL/JLU. Yes,this was a great theme, but it just seemed too cool for the room in this instance. It just didn't feel right to me as a weekly cartoon show. Again, just speculating. Your thoughts,Bat Fans?

  • @Blackwolff9 - Actually the reason The Edge's theme music for The Batman was replaced because some parents argued that it was too scary for kids (I read it somewhere around here), which is why it was replaced with a new theme tune, which also wasn't so bad. But, I'd like to think The Edge's theme music set the mood for the show. Well, that's what I think, anyway.

  • @Kusanagi01100 :Well,I did say I was speculating. Thanks for the info.

  • BEST INTRO EVER...HOW CAN I DOWN LOAD...I WANT THIS FOR MY RINGTONE

  • @SayainPrince just download realplayer and it will let you download any video and u can convert it to audio

  • i liked the series so much better when he was a vigilante and was chased by the two detectives... XD

  • hi

  • 0:28-0:33 kinda creeped me out

  • too bad we didnt have most of the good shows on the bulgarian version of cn :l sometimes the satelite would go off line and we got reconected to the american version which would make me extremely happy then everything goes back to normal atthe middle of teh show D:

  • @ogitode too bad:(

  • great serial, it was on cartoon network

  • Mr. Freeze has never looked so cool

  • @BlastDragonXzero Have you ever seen ARNOLD SCHWARZENNEGER as mr. freeze? :))

  • @mannoroth22 I have but I meant cartoon wise

  • @BlastDragonXzero Yeah and so didnt joker :D

  • @BlastDragonXzero the villains do look pretty cool on the version
