@mudswamper dirt jumping bikes or bmxes arent necessary at a jump that small but however, the white one is a dirt jumping bike, not the best one but today i have rebuilt it so it's a really good bike. and the guy with a mtb has bought a dirt jumping bike, this video is from 2008 so alot of changes have been made.

get yoursefl some red clay, its like 80 bucks a truckload. That'll help alot with the compacting, shaping and you can even use a flamethrower on it to 'bake' the clay. That's pretty much the best dirt you're gonna get.

the carpet prevents the tire from going down into the dirt and also makes it smoother and makes you get more air.

if u compact the dirt u dont need the carpet. the carpet will slow u down compared to good compacted dirt

thats why u pour a thin layer of cement after the jump is built up and then some dirt over top and pack it down u will have a nice jump
