Heard this song at the local gym and it's very catchy, the words stick in your mind and won't go away. All the more fun since I'm a metalhead LOL.

Around my parts dudes say that English women aren't hot (I know different though) and nowadays whenever someone says so I show them this video to shut them up. It works every time.

As for not making it in the U.S. , Robbie Williams never made it there and touring is a good money maker for artists, so touring for your core fans makes sense.

Have to agree with Brad. I'm here in the US and I only found out about these girls because of a Youtube recommendation last month. They have been around for...what, 5 years now and I have never heard one of their songs played on the radio here in the US. You couldn't escape the Spice Girls 10 years ago here in the States, but Girls Aloud....? Which is a shame because I think they are far better than the Spice Girls.

No, I didn't hear any of their songs on the radio, which is what surprises me. A decade ago, you could not escape the Spice Girls. They were everywhere. Now Girls Aloud are total unknowns over here. And saying that they are 30 times better than the Spice Girls may be an understatement. Not all of their songs are gems, but I can't believe "Whole Lotta History" or "Call the Shots" couldn't crack the Top 40 over here.

They are very dedicated to there UK Tours and their fans here....Maybe one of the reasons they have lasted in because they haven't over stretched themselves trying to crack the American market...Every album they have made has been fresh...

Only in the last few months have they seemed tired, Cheryl maybe being over stretched... they have still done a UK tour this year.... None of them have the drive or egos of Geri or Victoria of The Spice Girls when it comes to fame either.....

I've been a HUGE pop music fan since I can remember. I like just about everything from rock, r&b, metal, rap, hip hop, dance, blues, country etc but POP was what got me into music. Pop music to me isn't as good as it used to be, but Girls Aloud have the best pop songs I have heard in a LONG time.

They always say how they're not leaving the UK though, which sucks. I hope they decide to TRY and break it here.

I first heard of this group on a wrestling board, of all places. It was in the music section of the board and they were bitching about how they hated that they covered 'Walk This Way' with Sugababes (who, in my opinion, are not that great). I was curious, so I looked up Girls Aloud and I was floored, what catchy beat and great tunes. I hope they change their mind on going global and decide to do so, Nadine lives in LA as it is and they are WAY TOO GOOD to be just known in the UK.

I hate comparing them to the Spice Girls, but they're definitely, to me, the modern SG (music-wise). The Spices were a phenomenon, but Girls Aloud have that same catchy music factor.

I've never listened to the Sugababes, and honestly, I don't think I ever will. They just don't attract my attention the way GA does.
