I think people neglect to notice the fact that even though he's on a TV show that he has feelings and faces issues that a lot of people normally face because at the end of the day he's an actual person and he's only human. I just watched the episode again, and when u were leaving your bestfriend that was so emotionally hard for me. You have great friends there at the seaside who do everything for you. Dont worry about people hating, it is everywhere. I would love you to meet you alongside thousands of others lol but keep your head up. Regardless of whether the show is scripted, this is an issue many people don't understand. Explaining what you're going through, you say "it's not physical ... mental is just as bad as physical". Mental *is* physical - you are legitimate in saying you're in real pain, as much as with a visible ailment. The brain is an organ like any other organ. People understandably, mistakenly, think of the brain and body as separate, because the brain can be aware of itself, unlike the rest of the body.

I struggle with anxiety, I have it under control most days but sometimes just rarely it comes up and I cant talk myself out of it and calm the fuck down, its just way over my head. I have to take sometime off from whatever Im doing and chill, away from some friends, in my comfort zone alone. I usually come out of it by telling myself I dont have to do anything I dont want to. Might sound dramatic but It's calming knowing there is always an escape route. Thats just my story with it.

It's amazing how down to earth you stay while being surrounded by all this fame. I think it's awesome that you are not afraid to expose your own personal issues in order to help others. I have had similar issues (social anxiety, depression, etc.) that I am currently overcoming and writing about on a blog. I am actually writing a book as we speak.
If more famous people would do what you do, I'm sure having an idol can be a positive thing again, instead of following tramps like lindsay lohan.
I do hope you come back because you were my favourite Jersey Shore cast member but if you don't (really hope you do) but if you don't I hope you get better from this anxiety.

I have suffered with depression for 3 years now -- It's one of the hardest diseases to overcome. It really does impact everyone around you....and I think it was a wise decision to take yourself out of the party scene and take care of yourself. You've got to put yourself 1st when it comes to depression and anxiety. check out TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms)...they've been helping me a lot lately.

for those who suffer with this problem including vinny, from someone who is diagnosed to being officially allergic to stress/anxiety all i can say to you is to always tell urself that everyone goes through some issue in life, and not to be afraid to hide it. Vinny im glad you came out and discussed your problem that will seriously help you out and those who are scared to tell people. All you can do is relax, be with those who love you, and tell yourself it can be worse! take care of yourselves<3

It's amazing how down to earth you stay while being surrounded by all this fame. I think it's awesome that you are not afraid to expose your own personal issues in order to help others. I have had similar issues (social anxiety, depression, etc.) that I am currently overcoming and writing about on a blog. I am actually writing a book as we speak.
If more famous people would do what you do, I'm sure having an idol can be a positive thing again, instead of following tramps like lindsay lohan.
