  • If you want to seriously get rid of your mold/mildew odors, then you need to get an ozone generator. Everything else will just temporarily fix the problem, but won't make it go away long-term. Ozone destroys odor molecules in the air and on pourous surfaces, so you will be left with no odors.

Turn on one of our RainbowAir Auto units for a few hours and you won't even look sideways at any other sort of product. You can find out more at our OzoneExperts website.

  • The best (and free) way I've found to get rid of this: While driving, about 5 minutes before you park the car, turn the AC off but leave the vent fan on. The fan will still blow air out of the ducts, but it will just be fresh air from outside. It will dry the system out and you wont have that bad smell the next time you use it.

  • "Did you get it out?"

"Yep, that'll be $474. Now it may come back, but we got it for now."

  • This is only a temporary fix. If you have an odor problem in the air coming out of the vents be it heat or A/C then you have a drainage problem in the intake system. Water is collecting around that area from rain and water being thrown down by the windshield wipers.

My Maxima is 11 years old and doesn't have that problem.

  • By "turn blower on" do you mean the A/C...or the recirculate, the heater....? Which one?

  • @agenthelios1 just the fan

  • @YMCMB4L1F3 Nevermind...already figured out what it was. Problem fixed.

  • if pure air is a brand name, what is the product's generic name (eg, is it a mildew remover, etc.?)?
