It actually says Congress shall make no law establishing a religion. Secondly you say those who are gay were born that way and if God made them and loves them then.... 2. If Congress shall make no law establishing a religion, wouldn't it make sense to extend that into something like "Congress shall make no law showing preference to any religion over another?" Why shouldn't Congress remain secular?
3. We're assuming God exists right now, and that he created the Earth and everyone on it. So, if he created everyone and homosexuality is controlled by genes (it literally is, I'll link you to several studies if you wish), then God literally created them as they were, homosexual. It's not assumptive reasoning if I'm not pulling things out of thin air. I've seen studies about homosexuality and genetics, I'm not just making that claim up. THAT'S what makes it NOT assumptive reasoning.
The difference between "human" and "marriage" is that marriage is a choice, but being a human is not. Gays can still have civil unions which grant the same legal rights as marriages.
