It's clearly dead, it's flipped over on its' back blocking its' blowhole. Also, if it's a humpback whale (which it appears to be) it could be over 50 feet long, if you wanna try and flip it over be my guest. If you have read anything you would know that most whales beach themselves because they are dying or sick.
