  • Is that kenny rogers?

  • why, ditto!

  • OMG, this guy have style!

  • im straight but really this guy was handsome

  • The coolest looking hair in the history of humanity. There have been other manes that come close, Roger Daltry circa 1970 for instance, but Robert Plant in the 70s can't be matched. Rock & roll, man.

  • dug us from new orleans jazzfest with that lovely lady voicehaunting taunting residuals

    tell qint wink

  • stil type

  • 1977 no baton rouge show i guess

    /watch?v=J0Rdr9mx5b0

  • Best voice in Rock & Roll and Blues.

  • brillant!! i love led zeppelin...because is the most particular band.....so special..unique

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND!

JANIS JOPLIN = GREATEST FEMALE SINGER AND ROBERT PLANT = GREATEST MALE SINGER!

  • Te amo...

  • OOOOOOH. I think i just melted. is it just me or has his accent poshened up now since the 70s?

  • oh yeah! Didn't even notice the interviewer.

  • great interview!

  • ROBERT looks so sexy...so wild and free.

  • Plant was so baked.

  • I think there is a feathered roach clip in his hair. Cool!

  • Funny... taped in March '75. I saw Zep on March 17th in Seattle, March 19th in Vancouver, and AGAIN on March 21st in Seattle !

That was quite a week in 1975 !

  • @TacomaPaul Were they as good as we all think of them to be?

  • Jimmy Page.... 'unrivaled"... amen to THAT!

  • @MargaretJohnston54 Fucking scum dont you know a god when you see one

  • @MargaretJohnston54 Fuck you bitch

  • led zeppelin, precisa falr alguma coisa!

  • the last line is sorta sad now looking back. the wheels sorta fell off at the end of zeppelin's existence and after 1980ish the seldom got back together. such a shame that the most all around perfectly arranged band only lasted 11-12 years or so. BUT as they say, it's better to burn out than to fade away.

  • WTF - I love how they're both smoking.

  • love him so much genius

  • nice haircut...better than my aunts

  • this is great!!!

  • You can hear twangs of his midlands accent occasionally coming through.

  • @fiveredpears Yes. That's what I noticed. Especially when he says words like "another" and "love", etc. And also words with the "ou" sound like "about" and the "a" in "after". Even today you can still hear it in his voice a bit.

  • You can see the lifestyle starting to take its toll on him even here; and then his son dies, and then the car accident ... what was to follow - Presence & In Through The Out Door - good as it was, wasn't them firing on all cylinders.

  • lol at the interviewer smoking. Ahhhh....such innocent times.

  • He's very attractive man,not JJ of course.

  • this is beautiful, wow Robert, yes

  • I love how if you ask any girl my age: "What celebrity do you fancie?"

They'd say...Justin Beiber, Taylor Launtner, The Wanted etc...

    "Pat who do you fancie?"

    "ROEBRT PLANT!!!"

    "Who?"

"I feel sorry for you, wasting your life on such arses. Luckily for me I found RObert Plant!!!"

  • @PattiSioux I adore Robert tooooo and I'm a 13 y/o girl!!!

    Peace!!

    Kitty

  • @PattiSioux

Did you show them a picture of Robert. Anyway, to be fair, Led Zeppelin wasn't geared towards people your age. It was a band for those in their late teens, 20's and older.

Girls your age in the 70's probably would have liked Donny Osmand (The Beiber of his time).

  • @PattiSioux i also respond melanie, janis, morrison, hendrix, floyd, buffy ste marie, and they're like, you lost me with plant!

  • the interviewer looks like black dynamite

  • Robert Plant couldn't exist without Janis Joplin

  • @danalogue1 i really doubt that ..

  • What year are you talking about???

  • Wow! Check out JJ Jackson lookin' like The Ladies Man! LOL!

  • "I don't see there should be any time to stop." So sad that this very year marked the beginning of their downfall.

  • Why don't men look like this anymore? God, I miss this look.

  • @lallliendell

I take it you mean Robert's divine tousled look, not the interviewer's smooth mini afro!

  • @lallliendell I know people who do :P

  • Robert Plant is a God. I am convinced now. When he sings he sings with his soul in a way noone can copy. The music is just. Well it is music. Other music is just posing, chords and riff. This is SOUL. Folkmusic, rock''n'roll, blues, beautiful lyrics. And then as a person he is so humble and loveable!!

  • He's beyond gorgeous

  • He looks very tired. I love how he describes the respect between the band.

  • IM MORE INTO THE LATTER DAYS (75-80)

  • Why is he so beautiful? Why. God why? Omg. I'm so in love with him. I go fucking crazy watching videos. I've got it baaaad. Oh, Robert. How I love you so. <3

  • @MitsukiSky I know what you mean.. He's too beautiful!!!

  • Stairway to heaven is probably one of their worst songs. It made top 40, but that doesn't mean very much. This Bob Plant fellow is a real flake as evidenced from this video. This band really jumped the shark around Physical Graffiti, maybe before that.

  • I'M CRYING IN HAPPINESS =,)

I'd become a groupie just because of him OH GOD I CAN'T BREATHE I'M NOT OK

    ROBERT FUCK ME

mother of god, I never speak like this --'

  • @PowerMetalWorld You need to get help. One question. Are you a chick or guy?.....

  • @TheFunnysamnoob333 thank god I'm a chick... lol

  • 30 minutes of drums? you can only handle that shit on strong acid, man!

  • Behold,Robert, stay in tune-the interviewer is going to eat you up!!

    "He has taken drugs,catch him!"

  • the guy at the start creeps me out O.o

  • He is the sexist man that has ever graced this earth!

  • @zepfanforever I will have to disagree, I believe Jim Morrison takes the award for that.

  • @low72 Jim Morrison doesn't come close to the charisma, sex appeal, vocal talent and overall presence that Mr. Robert Plant had and has.

  • @zepfanforever No no no, Mr. Mojo Risin surpasses all.

  • @low72 Morrison was just eccentric, very overrated singer and musician.

  • @AZEIDJSKSQMM We're talking about sexiest man that ever has graced this earth

  • @low72 And ^.^ ?

  • @AZEIDJSKSQMM What do you mean "And?" You said "Morrison was just eccentric, very overrated singer and musician" and I said "We're talking about the sexiest man that has ever graced this earth" Put 2 and 2 together, ya dingus.

  • @zepfanforever That's a really important "e" that you left out there :)

  • @zepfanforever

the word "sexist" means something VERY DIFFERENT than the word "sexiEst" which is the word you were looking for.

  • @zepfanforever Who? Wolfman Jack? He was a sexy man in a Reveen kind of way.

  • does he have feathers in his hair? oh good lord.

  • it looks like a bird got caught in his mane

  • 6:23 makes me laugh so much

    just his face

  • just noticed how much wolfman jack and kevin smith look alike.

  • This is by far the BEST interview & band overview I have ever seen on You Tube. Thank you so much for posting this incredible piece of history. Long live Led Zepplin!

  • Roberts statement about never stopping made me sad. And it leaves one to wonder what would have happened had Bonzo not died.....

  • MISS U WOLFMAN!

  • LED ZEPPELIN FOREVER

  • LOL the ending was so cheap! xD

  • Robert Plant U Beautiful Sexy Man i thank my stars u were almost shirtless during ur shows :D and them jeans ooooo yes them jeans. Zepplein will always BE ROCK FOUNDERS

  • Wow! March 1975. I saw Led Zeppelin in early 1975, (Jan or Feb - I forget now), at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. I actually saw them twice, back-to-back on two separate nights. My sister's boyfriend at the time had an extra ticket, and my friend and I had two tickets for the next night's show.

It was the Physical Graffiti tour and the show was amazing! I never saw any press they did for this tour so I'm thrilled to be able to see this so many years later. Thanks for posting!

  • I love how he's talking about exploring different types of music and not being ALL about hard rock although that's what most people credit Led Zeppelin for, but in between talking they play the most overplayed Zep songs and describe Bonzo's drumming as "bombastic"

  • OMG ! did u hear wat he says at the very end?

    i kinda teared up a little !

ROBERT - you were rite ,we are ALL STILL HERE! my friend ,we are still here, loyal as ever . ZEP has touched our lives sO deeply -down into our soals, that you can tell we bleed ZEP in everything we do,its our attitude ,its in our swagger .

Its easy to see in every ZEP fan = that we demand quality AND class ,texture & depth now = not just in music BUT in all parts of our lives !

  • I could watch him talk all day

  • Amen anetchi he is

  • Wow Robert used to be so gorgeous<3 I love him<3

  • I love you Robert!!!!!!

  • holy crap, is that a feather in his hair??? whatever, hes still georgous

  • J.J. Jackson, one of MTV's original VJ's! Back when MTV used to play music.

  • The last part of this interview kinda makes me wanna cry. He says how he doesn't see how it could end. But, in less than one year, he's going to have a car crash that had the potency to put him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. In two years, his son is going to die. And in five, John Bonham will die. That's very, very sad..

  • @bonzo971 yea dude ! im kinda cryin now!

  • Is it me, or does the font of the words "Robert Plant" in this example resemble the Planet of the Apes titles? Haha

  • Yes, the "variety" was good, but let's not fool ourselves - the hard rock (+ Stairway) is what made them famous....not Boogie with Stu...

  • @DCussen

Well, they sure wouldn't have been the same Zeppelin had they not varied from the "hard rock" formula. It's what they had done and been doing that made them famous. :)

  • Robert Plant is so so beautiful! What a gorgeous man!

  • @anetchi I'd totally tap dat. I'm a straight male. Yep.

  • theirs actually more to this / on the midnite special theirs a part where robert writes ona chackboard somthing to the fact that

"jimmy page is the # 1 gutairist ever"

ANYONE got anything they can share about this ?

    HELP !!

  • I have been so totally in love with this guy and always will be.

  • What's the song at 4:36??

  • @GintokisGirl95 black dog

  • @lsunationalchamps08 Sweet, thanks! :D

  • @GintokisGirl95 Are you kidding me? That's Black Dog.

  • @mojo4404 I've asked that when I didn't know too much of their music. But thank you, I know now. :D

  • AAH Mr. Plant's vioce is soooo awesome!!

  • thank you so much for posting this!

  • NEVER EVER saw THIS before!! Thank You!!

  • cool

  • wow.........where did you find this?

  • good stuff !!

  • Thank you for posting this. What a great interview this was. Magnificent!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Thank You a million times for posting this. I've only seen pictures and long thought this was one of the lost interviews. Boy does hisspeaking voice sound rough here. Not hard to imagine why 75 was a rough year for Plant vocally. They really should have taken that year off to let his voice heal. In a way, the car accident helped his voice recover.

  • @CallMeTheWonderer I have to agree. Unfortunatley March 75 was not a good time for him vocally. I don't think the cigarrette he is puffing on is a good call either. Cool stuff nevertheless. Great find.

  • @TRYINGHARD25 in 1975 you find me an artist that wasn't smoking!!! it was different world back then, easy to look back and shake your head.
