  • @Lynnmist

For fucks sake, read a book some time... and no, not the bible, something non-fiction.

That level of ignorance is far beyond my willpower to fix in youtube comments.

  • @Lynnmist You still start with an assumption, that there was literally nothing and then the universe came into existence, from this nothing. Then, you take this assumption, and apply an unknown to it.

It isn't hard to UNDERSTAND God was 'always here', this is something you don't understand. It's another assumption. All these belief systems hve, is definite statements which can only be derived from assumptions.

  • @Lynnmist what came out of what is a fine question to kick around in your head but the answer is completely irrelevant to the problems that humanity is facing right now. we keep fighting and debating while the wealthy elite just laugh and joke about how stupid we are, while governments keep passing laws that repress us and while big corporations take us for all we have with their bailouts and restructuring schemes, we need to wake up. I really don't care if there is a god or not, REALITY is.

  • its funny because einstien called christianity a "cavemans religion" and said that of all religions he perferred buddhism

  • Sorry dude, you're gonna see lots more crap like that. People get dumber every day.

  • Just because something is elegant and well put together doesn't mean that it has an intelligent designer. Math is beautiful and elegant. I mean that fact that any periodic function can be equated to a series of sines and cosines is just beautiful. That I can start with C = (pi) D and using the fundamental theorem of calculus arrive at the areas and volumes associated with various geometric shapes is elegant. And yet math has no designer, only discoverers.

  • @SandBarAndYou Ah, but a creationist would say that it is that way because God made it so. As long as creationists leave me alone, I leave them alone because we'll never convince each other.

  • @Christhefireshark

Atheist theme song: Selena Gomez - Magic

Oh, oh, oh, it's magic, you know

    Never believe it's not so

    It's magic, you know

    Never believe it's not so

  • @yewutube Selena Gomez?! SELENA GOMEZ???!!!!1111!!!!! It's PILOT!!!! not "Selena Gomez".

  • @SandBarAndYou

Oh, oh, oh, it's magic, you know

    Never believe it's not so

    It's magic, you know

    Never believe it's not so

  • 1:04 That would be the most epic cola commercial ever I SAY THEY DO THAT!!

  • what is einstein doing on that pamphlet? he was a believer

  • Oh no that is pathetic, not the blind watchmaker argument again. If you argue that everything needs a creator, then so does the creator, who needs a creator, that needs a creator and so on infinitum. There is no one single thing that creates everything. The universe is chaotic where matter and energy are in a constant state of change from the cause and effect of other matter and energy in a constant state of change. But being a physics student you should know that.

  • From the thumbnail I red "A wild banana appears"

  • You are awesome, thztheist.

  • Actually the light itself is an electromagnetic wave :) Typo*

  • Actually the light itself is an electromagnetic vave :)

  • I agree with the Christian view. Christians and atheists have logic. While we Christians don't violate our logic, you guys have no problem ignoring your logic that not a thing can come nothingness. So while you laugh at us, we are also having a hard time keeping a straight face when we look at your beliefs.

  • @compgrad1 Where does your God come from? Where did everything come from? According to your "logical" worldview, it simply appeared out of nothing. Scientists actually have explanations for their claims. And you're mocking atheists why again?

  • @duncreg Good question.... I don't know, He's Always Existed as per what we read on the Bible. Everything comes from God's word. He spoke, it happened. Scientists don't have explanations, they have hypothesis and at best theories. Their explanation could some day become null. I am not mocking, but how can I not laugh when you laugh at our faith and yet take yourselves a humongous leap of faith into something hypothesized or at best theorized.

  • @compgrad1 "He spoke, it happened. " That's something from nothing. Besides think about what you said, that means your god lived forever before the world was created, but forever goes on, well, FOREVER. So that's impossible, because that means there is INFINITY events before our creation, and how can infinity end? It can't.

  • @humanistheart Yes, I agree with you. It's hard to comprehend because our minds are finite. But God is not Finite, He's Infinite and outside of time.

So we have two possibilities, at least for now... On one hand, God and on the other hand the Big Bang and abiogenesis along with evolutionary explanation. Because you and I exist, our minds must look for a Source or an Origin. I think God Is The more Obvious Choice. There are many other obsacles to your view also, i.e. the scientific laws, etc.

  • @compgrad1 No, I think you missed the point. It's impossible. You cannot have infinity before and after an event.

Also you nameless god could not be outside of time and do anything. Time for all intensive purposes is merely the occurrence of events. If you believe he's done things, like creating a world, than he's not outside of time.

People like to say that, but no, there are no obstacles to sceince, there a lot against the nameless one though, like logic, reason, ethics and history.

  • @humanistheart But I ask you, If God created the World, He had to be outside of it and thereby outside of time itself. Time is a universal dimension, it's not necessarily existent outside the universe, or whatever is the outermost shell or layer... You are saying that God had to be somehow within time to create the world/universe etc. That's illogical... You would much rather believe that nothingness developed some scientific laws and followed them to create the universe, abiogenesis/evo.

  • @compgrad1 Outside of our 4th dimension of time sure, however again, what is time but change? If I showed you video and paused it at the 5 minute mark, for 5 minutes, would you then say you were 10 minutes into the video? I wouldn't, and if you did it would be inaccurate. But does that mean that all of time stopped for 5 minutes? No, only in the video. Likewise, if from an outside perspective no time passed in our dimension, how would any being outside of our time know ours had stopped unless...

  • @humanistheart Stopping the video at 5 min for t min is irrelevant. It's like grabbing your own hand and trying to lift yourself off the floor, it's impossible, because you are grounded. I still suspect you don't understand what time is...

  • @compgrad1 That's it? You think I don't understand what time is? Let me know when you have a better response.

  • @compgrad1 their time continued? The bottom line is, if a being created something than by necessity has to have done it. So what do you call the progression from having a universe and not having one? TIME. A being could have a different time, but it cannot be immune to any time, otherwise it's still, without the ability to affect anything.

  • @humanistheart I suspect that you don't understand what time is.

  • @humanistheart I put a song about time on my YTube channel. It explains it perfectly. (i.e.There's no such thing!)

  • @duncreg Well said.

  • @compgrad1 Hi compgrad1! I just thought I'd shed some light on the scientific theories on the big bang. Although I agree there is some belief required as our knowldge cannot be full of what happened in the first moment of the big bang (because of fundamental laws) luckily enough there is research and evidence for certain theories which can explain a lot! At the moment our best explanation is that of quauntum fluctuation, which contrary to your post says EXACTLY something can come from nothing

  • @66tom99 Ok, I can certainly understand science is doing some research on the workings of the universe. Great! However, we have not established yet as per science who put those laws in place. I know Who Did It! If we have God, outside time and space, that means we can't comprehend that He's Always Existed. But admit it, that you have to take a humongous leap of faith to believe what you believe. You have to believe before the Universe existed, laws existed.

  • @compgrad1 We don't know, but there is no faith. We say "This is right heres the evidence" or we say "this is what may have happened, but we admit we don't know". In my opinion "god did it" is not an explanation, especially because the only 'proof' of this theory is in the bible. Imagine a scientist said "I've got a new theory, this theory is that everything that this theory says is true... so therefore this theory must be true" he would be mocked, this is the bible in a nutshell.

  • @66tom99 In my humble opinion, I think the "God Did It" option is best. Scientists can't find intelligence in the brain, but it's there. Can't see an atom, but we know it exists, can't see air, but we breathe. Great, and I'm sure I am mocked too, but hey, it's worth it. I get more pleasure out of knowing that God Did It and this Same God, Loves me that it is impossible to describe. He's my Father, and I am not ashamed of Him. What about you, would you lose your faith in secular science?

  • @compgrad1 I don't think any atheist would say they wouldn't believe in God if there was sufficient proof, we are not that stubborn, but whatever you say there obviously is not sufficient proof. Your three examples are silly, both air and atoms we can both "see", maybe not with our eyes but we can still verify with certainty their existence. And we know a ton about the brain, and even if we didn't there is no reason to make the step from a lack of knowledge to a belief that god explains it.

  • @66tom99 You can see air and atoms? Please send me a picture, I've been dying to see what it looks like. But don't send computer models using stm microscopes. I want to see the real stuff.

Nevertheless, you make your choices and it's all up to you. So instead, of saying you know for sure, admit that you're banking on being right and this is not concrete proof that you both touch and see. In conclusion, yes, you guys go on faith too.

  • @66tom99 This guys a little thick isn't he?

  • @compgrad1 And finally, I can assue you I am just as happy as you knowing and researching all these amazing scientific discoveries, and even more happy knowing that I don't need to live in fear of any god, or have to please any god. But that even though I know with certainty I will not be puished eternally for my crimes, I will still be good, and furthermore I don't need a god to guilt me in to being good.

  • @66tom99 Actually, to know for sure, neither you nor I can prove. And I don't live in fear. Just look at how much antidepressants and antianxiety medicine people are taking. I don't have to do that.

  • @compgrad1 If you think we make a leap of faith in science, please say where! Although we have not found explanations of some things you mentioned, how you can say science only does "some" research in to the universe. We are quickly advancing our knowledge, and it will only be time until we have a theory of everything. Can I ask, if scientists proved exactly how the universe started, with no need for a God, would you give up your faith?

  • @66tom99 You guys do an over leap of faith in science when it comes to evolution, abiogenesis, and the big bang. But, see, we are not on the same page. You buy whatever "scientists" feed to you. I don't. I am skeptical most of the time in the secular sciences. If it's not logical, I don't buy it. How can you believe in abiogenesis, or evolution, or perhaps yet the Big Bang? That is what I find amazing....

I don't think I would give up my faith....I've seen and experienced too much.

  • @66tom99 Besides, why would I give up my faith in Jesus only to believe something that might change in the future, like your scientific peer verified work. It's foolishness. I have cancer now and prayed so much that a piece of a tumor actually came out my nose. No one doctor of mine has ever seen it before nor been able to explain it, and they are top Drs. They look dumbfounded, and I am not knocking those guys, they are like friends. But Jesus first, everything else second.

  • @compgrad1 Combined with some new exciting research on Neutrino "flavour" flipping which can explain the excess of "matter" to "anti-matter", as usually during quantum fluctuations these are created in equal amounts, but this new research could explain why it isn't so in our universe! Hope you look in to this more and enjoy!

  • At my work, some ass keeps coming in and hiding these kind of booklets on our shelves for customers/employees to find. I'm sure they think they're being very deep, but what they're really doing is called solicitation/littering, which is expressingly forbidden on the store's property.

  • Why do keep looking down? Its kinda pissing me off

  • @kysmelmonge Uh, he's reading the pamphlet? You didn't expect him to memerize that bullshit did you?

  • Ask a creationist what's the difference between

a banana and a coke can,

    a man and a machine.

a life form and an inanimate object.

"If the soda can was designed for human use, the banana must have been too"

Living things eat, excrete, move, breathe, grow, reproduce. Non living things like soda cans don't, so why do creationists compare them?

  • I can make a winning argument in 2 sentences. Does god Exist? And is the answer to that question different to this question?

  • What are you looking at down to the right constantly? It’s so annoying!!!

  • His sarcasm makes him look absolutely daft. We need guys like this to laugh at. Thanks.

  • That was quiet amusing. What a shame such guys as the banana-guy don't get laughs from everyone

  • WE HAVE A CREATIONIST MUSEUM IN BV?! I live in Alberta and how the fuck did I not know this? OOOOOHHHH Right cause I'm an atheist and I don't give a fuck. I still wanna check it out and laugh now that I know.

  • Show some enthusiasm. I mean, I don't expect you to go acting like YT's Fred or anything, but at least try to sound like your not being forced to put this thing out..

  • Thank you, you are a breathe of fresh air.

  • This kid's a weirdo...

  • Television waves do exist in Ray's world and the domestic banana was engineered by humans not evolution. I don't take Ray Comfort seriously any more then I take his name seriously, Comfort, is that a real name?

  • Evolution is a fact BUT evolution is a theistic theory NOT atheistic, actually evolution proves God existence: /watch?v=Ugu3cZN-3jU

  • @helasmoh It doesn't prove God's existence at all.

  • @helasmoh no it doesnt. this is just another example of how science is twisted by the religious to back their points. They know they cant deny it, so they manipulate real data and real facts. "evolution proves God existence" about as much as proves mother goose lived on the jersey shore

  • @MrKGatl

Muslims did not twist science. It was western scientists in Darwin's time who called evolution "Mohammedan Theory of Evolution", not Muslims. /watch?v=Ugu3cZN-3jU If you want to see real twisting for the truth then watch my video: My God Delusion Part 3 - How Richard Dawkins Twisted the Truth: /watch?v=q2IEvykdCpQ

  • @helasmoh Actually the Mohammedan theory was introduced in the 12the century by a muslim. Darwins contemporaries might have discussed and thought about it, but they didnt believe it or make it up. that video you suggested proved nothing to me other than religious people are ignorant of science. That was actually a terrible example. Unable to mix salt water and fresh water, what idiots. All religions twist science, its what they have to do to support their fairy tales

  • @MrKGatl

You are just like your master Dawkins, the Quran told us about the halocline 1400 years ago and I proved that in my video, yet you see the halocline as two glasses of water, exactly like Dawkins did, you both lied about the Quran and both will enjoy each other company for eternity.

  • @helasmoh You've got it wrong. Part of being an atheist means that you have no master. But Dawkins is one of the most outspoken Atheists. Why cant atheists have a few people speak out in its favor, people are always criticizing Dawkins and Hitchens for speaking out.. Its not fair, when religions have hundreds of people speaking out for them. Yeah, site the Quran for scientific back up. Terrible arguement.

  • @MrKGatl

Unlike you, I do have a master, the One who created you, me, Dawkins and the universe. If this universe has a creator (master) then this creator knows exactly how it will end and I already proved that in my video: Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss Vs. Fairies: /watch?v=eGPLaKIZU1w

Are you sure when we die we become nothing? Is there anything from you that doesn't die? When cosmic apocalypse destroy this universe I already asked my master to save me. Who did you ask?

  • @helasmoh My parents are the only ones who created me. When we die our energy disapates and thats it. You prove nothing with the video. Cosmic apocalypse? You sound like the crazy person you are. I am not going to debate you anymore because i do not take you seriously or respect you. Enjoy your medieval way of thinking and of course your fairy tales.

  • @MrKGatl

Suit yourself, all I can do is tell you. I still wish you all the best and I do respect your decision.

  • i still think it's kinda sad, this new twist on the watchmaker argument. after all, no one will ever look at a watch and think the watch maker doesn't have parents, or grandparents. likewise, no one will ever look at a can of cola and think it only took one person to create it... just two reasons the watchmaker argument fails. and here's a third... all the things people point at saying 'that had a creator' ... are non-biological!

  • haha, you think it's bad in Alberta, you should give Utah a try :S. Thanks for the video.

  • To Thzatheist: Good one. It's nice to see younger generations coming up, with a greater respect for logic and reason, rather than blind faith in supernatural beings thought to send them mental impressions as to their "will," which must be obeyed against all logic. Keep it up!

  • @ApplyUrBrain STUPID ATHIEST HAHA

  • @thechango3000 You just made yourself seem ignorant...you know that, right? Very well done.

  • @ShePlaysIt i dont really care

  • yeah because evolution definitely can make 10 rows of 5 oranges by random chance... again, plain ignorance

  • the pamphlet makes so much sense though. there can absolutely be no contradiction to anything in it.

  • Of course there is such a thing as television waves, it says so in the bible.

  • lol love this vid! you're awesome.

  • Only 25% of people in canada are non-religious? there's gotta be more smart people out there..

  • i hate religious propaganda, it's stupid and insulting to any racional person.

  • @ZZzzzzzWhat i like how you spelled racional "correctly"

  • @TheSelene1984 english is not my native language, sometimes i make the mistake of writing some similar words as i would in my native language. But thanks for the orthographic correction.

  • You're too gay.

  • 66 people failed the IQ I mean atheist test.

  • I so want to go to this "creation" "museum" just so I can point and laugh, I will be kicked out.

    Cheers Christine

  • @christinepeace so can we laugh at a bloody jew on a cross?

  • @christinepeace Well said, Christine!

It's so tempting to go there - even though I live this side of the Pond.

  • "perhaps you take things to literally "

    I fucking lold

    you're the best

  • If seeing a coke can on the ground would be evidence that the coke can was created by a designer, then it would be evidence that the ground it is on (earth) was not created.

  • This Made Me Laugh So Hard I Spit My Drink Out And Now My Computer Is Messed Up.

  • @0XScourgeX0 Hey!! crazy people, please don't bevies bible god, open your eye and wake up, this world is difference from the bible say, now is time to change your god to another god, just worship a new god in your heart. Don't go to church worship a cross, picture, a statue. raise pastor family, if you smart enough, you better raise chicken, cow, pig, they give you meat, if you stupid you raise a man, you lose money

  • @Qulabican ... Okay... Goin' Back to Shintoism now...

  • @Qulabican Why worship any gods at all. They are the product of a primitive, unenlightened mind any way.

  • @TheDano1947

Yes. I agree with you perfectly.

And the problem is that the worshipers, however harmless and peaceful they think they are, give support and credence to their brothers who believe the same things but carry the bombs.

    Peace on earth.

  • For real? 25% atheist in Alberta? And you can smoke weed? I'm there

  • We can play the over exaggeration game too. Your alternative is that ... there's a magic flying man in the sky! He hates homosexuals and is horribley prejudiced. He with you all the time, everyone. He always knows what your doing, like Santa, but without the toys. But even though he hates the other magic character, satan, and gays etc., he loooves us allllllllllll! C=

  • The universe is the creator genius.

  • god is like a pussy, Every dick worships it, thumbs up if you agree

  • Creationism is randomness because who could predict what a god would create? Despite not being able to predict evolutionary outcomes the forces of nature are not chance unlike the whims of a god.

  • Hey great work, thzatheist! :)

  • If i find a note that said "Made in heaven" on my package, I will believe in God. So far, all the skin I can see read nothing. Still looking. I'll let you know.

  • i believe in god, but for those of you who dont...

isnt it better to believe in god and be right, then to not believe in him and be wrong?

like a condom, its better to have one(believe in god) and not need it, then to need it and not have one

  • @trizzzace how do you know that god exists? many science stuff is prooven

  • Way To Go Man! Canada Pride!!!!!! LoL I want you to mail me that test....... I want to laugh!

  • what is this arguing? That Coke created the earth? I guess it is as plausible as any of the multitude of other creation myths.

  • Hahah! I like you.

  • We are FAR from perfect beings. If there was a creator, he was too stupid to be worshipped. But, to any christians reading this, I am not insulting your god. I am denying his existence.

  • I so feel sorry for the unbelievers, torment and agony will be there best friend in HELL!! They will never part from one another. Im glad JESUS came after me in the name of JEHOVAH our heavenly father that sent his son to deliver us from hell, ASK GOD TO PROVE HIMSELF WITH HUMBLENESS OF HEART, HE CAN EVEN CHANGE THIS GUY'S HOMOSEXUALITY!!!!!

  • I like what you said that stuff is crap

  • thank you very much

  • I can see someone making a coca cola can, I can not see someone making infinitive amounts of universes.

I can prove that the Coca Cola can is made by someone, I can not prove it happened by magic. No one can.

I can prove the big bang theory, but you wont accept it. I can not prove that the world was created by god, no one can.

And who's god are we talking about? The Ancient Greeks had several dozens, and there are thousands of religions as well with more than one god and saviour per one.

  • @TheGamingUpdated

YOU BREATHE AIR RIGHT? CAN U SEE IT, NO BUT ITS THERE!! MAY YOU COME TO REPENT AND ALLOW JESUS TO OPEN YOURE BLIND EYES. OH YEAH YOU MIGHT ASK WHY R U BOTHERING ME WITH THIS, RIGHT? I HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH HELL BEING MY 1ST ENCOUNTER AND CRYING OUT TO GOD AND HAVING HIM COME TO SAVE ME AND SPEND 5MINUTES WITH ME, I KNOW JESUS IS THE TRUTH THE WAY AND THE LIFE!! I DONT WANT YOU TO GO TO HELL PLZ-ITS HORRIFIC BEYOND WORDS CAN DESCRIBE!!! I FEAR FOR YOURE SOUL, CUZ YOU DONT!!

  • @eclectic23 I can feel air. I can also see Oxygen and lots of other atoms with optic magnification.

Looks like you really struggled with 3rd/year 3 grade science and just resorted to religion to help you through those difficult years.

  • @TheGamingUpdated

BULL, SCIENCE belongs to GOD. Of course everything has atoms and molecules Look closely at the world you live in how do you think so many creatures, plants, trees and water came to be? A divine maker and i understand why GOD said he regretted making mankind, you're heart is rotten. I cant wait to leave this earth full of stupid ppl who love their sins so much that they dont heed to the warning of Jehovah through Jesus to end up in a better place. You are immortal. choose life!

  • @eclectic23 God regrets it huh? Shouldn't he have been able to foresee this happening? What a shitty God.

  • @jle201

He not the bad one we are!! we love sin rather than truth n righteousness but one day you and youre GOD the evil one will be together forever and the you will see that you should have heeded to the invitation. Jesus came to fix the mess that adam and eve created by sinning against JEHOVAH. THATS LOVE man for GOD to give us a 2nd chance he didnt give up on us even though he could have well done so. Gods love also demonstrated by CHOICE, which we cant even do right without him God bless U

  • @eclectic23 Yeah, God loves us so much that he gave us free will. The only problem with that is if you don't choose him, he'll torture you for all of eternity. That's not much of a choice... Life sucks man.

It's mostly all chaos, violence, and injustice. If a God did create this, he did a shitty job and he should come apologize to us all.

  • @eclectic23 You told me I could not see oxygen, therefore I proved it to you that I can see oxygen with Science.

Your evidence for an existence of a god was me not being able to see oxygen, I prove to you that I can see oxygen using optic magnification and your only piece of evidence for your god is scrapped.

Where is this going, and why should I take someone who struggled with 3rd grade science and is currently struggling with 3rd grade English.

  • @eclectic23 Before you give me the "I was running out of time" type excuse, you wrote "you're heart" that literally means 'you are heart' you can not manage this if you were rushing.

If you did, then your god really does not care about your well being.

  • @eclectic23 can you tell me about your experience?? how you got saved?

  • lol this man has no idea want he is on about.

  • OK now try that design argument with a snowflake, which we can watch form from its most elemental components into a complex, but intricate and patterned shape. Yet we know there is no maker of snowflakes in the sky, and we very well understand how they are formed. So the question is... which is nature more like? A pop can, or a snowflake?

  • pplz...just to get you in the christmas spirit...

    1) "santa" was created by coke, purely to help sales... they gave him his look in 1931, before that his apperances differed

    2) "christmas" (jesus's birthday) was around long befor jesus... it was a pagan holiday... (historians beleive jesus was born in september by the way...)

    3) for a long time christians & cathilcs wouldn't celibrate christmas because of it being a pagan/wican holiday

oh and Au70m4771c coconut are for bowling with duh... jk

  • I don't understand how just reading what the tract says somehow refutes the points. You can't refute the argument by saying "ZOMG KIRK KAMERON AND RAY COMFORT!?! OBVIOUSLY WRONG!?!"

  • Do you know exactly how many breeds of bananas grow wild? That breed you showed was just one of many.

  • I'm from Alberta too, and I had no idea about that museum. LMAO, when I looked it up and contrastred it to the Tyrell museum, its f@cking laughable

  • If the banana was a god-given fruit specifically designed for the human hand, then what about the coconut? God sure is a jerk.

  • I agree that many of the arguments (possibly ranging up to 60%) that christians use to justify themselves are completely ridiculous, I still believe in God. perhaps in an infinite universe of infinite possibility there is a chance that the earth may have been placed/perfected on it's own. However I take issue with athiests who refuse to even examine some of OUR more intelligent arguments, particularly in regards to the bible. Most of it is historically accurate and has been proven as such.

  • @mistriousfrog Sorry to have to burst your bubble, but historical accuracy does not reflect theological accuracy. To assume otherwise makes the Egyptian theology as, if not more, valid as/than Israelic/Judaic theology.

Second, the Bible has significantly more areas of historical either neutrality (An infertile woman is unimportant) or error (Genesis 1-3 is blatantly wrong).

Third, even the greatest theological arguments (both scriptural and extrascriptural) don't stand up to scrutiny.

  • Personal experiences are as trustworthy as any delusion a schizophrenic can make up.

  • The evidence is a personal expierience. Feeling the holy ghost, Seeing auras, hearing his voice, developing a strong conscience, losing interest in bad things, attracting different people and expieriences into your life, having an increased knowledge and understanding instantly, feeling more loving, feeling a presence, feeling content, feeling the hole that seems to consume everything become filled, noticing more coincidences, having strong intuition, seeing the effects of karma. all these.

  • @jasonwkeller76 You do realize that the very same antecdotal evidence you claim WOULD support your specific divine entity IF THERE WAS A CONSENSUS OF WHICH ENTITY IT WAS.

People have been having divine/mystical experiences since before Yahweh or El were even blips of thought in man's mind. And since then: Allah with a few personalities. Jesus with some. Yahweh and God have had several dozen personalities each.

As such, your argument fails to support ANY of them. :P

  • @onijester56

At first i didnt understand why JEHOVAH AKA YAWEH said he regretted making man but shortly after i understood why, the human race is beyond STUPID!!!! PPL like you who say there is no GOD searching in all the wrong places when it always starts in youre heart except nowadays very little have faith so they can never know GOD personally. I pity you greatly with so much sadness.

  • @eclectic23 "At first i didnt understand why JEHOVAH AKA YAWEH said he regretted making man" Actually if you paid attention to context the reason for the claim is that mankind was (to paraphrase each of the several versions I read daily) 'sinning too much' for God's taste.

"searching in all the wrong places" Heart, mind, Torah, Bible, Quran, Augustine, Aquinas, Descartes, and even Hovind and Behe. Just to list the first few sources. Let's not even get into the Platonic arguments...

"it always starts in youre heart" This is fallacious in several ways:

    * It applies to any divine entity or pantheon desired.

    * That divine entity can have any personality applied to it as the "seeker" sees fit.

    * The divine entity may or may not have a basis in reality.

    * And may or may not even have a purpose in reality.

As such, any claim for "truth" in the God made using "your heart" is not supported through the use of "your heart" alone.

"nowadays very little have faith" Which is the point of finding certainty and absolute truth. If the idea requires the complete and willful ignorance of reality to be accepted, then it cannot honestly be called "true". Since faith is the complete lack of evidence, all reality must be ignored because reality is a primary source of evidence.

"they can never know GOD personally." If they are punished for using the God-given gift of reason, then they wouldn't want to know such a tyrant.

  • why do you all care so much about what someone believes

  • I suspect that the REAL reason you made so many cuts was because you couldn't stop laughing every other sentence.

  • Seeing this video gives me hope that the next generation will finally awake to the fact that religion is superstition. Do well in your physics studies and live a good life!

  • @Almamater8888 Well said :)

  • This is amazing, their arguments are so well structured, I honestly can't understand how you fail to see that God exists! Look at the amazing Coke Can example! If a Coke Can has a designer, then surely EVERYTHING has a designer! It's only logical!

  • @flyawayhome3 if a Cherry is red, then surely EVERYTHING is red! It's only logical.

  • Wow...that booklet actually exists? Was it serious coz that honestly just sounds like a joke...

  • Creationists are wilfully stupid and they want everyone else to be as well.

  • i found it interesting that in a video, someone said that since there is always the same amount of energy in the universe, god must have all the energy of the universe then used that energy to create the universe. wtf? if he was made up of all the energy, then when the universe was created he must have ceased to exist! at least that's how i come to understand it. i've only done one year of high school science, so i may be on the wrong track :P

  • @MarisPallitax1 Take their statements as a joke, because that's what it is. Don't try to understand them from a scientific stand point, because science doesn't concern them

  • @wHisperis001 well, the video was trying to explain that god was real using 'science'

  • @MarisPallitax1 Doesn't that go against the whole idea of religion?

  • @AmishTownProductions i have no idea. i think they were just trying to convert the atheists by using our 'medium.'

  • ASSHOLE

  • 30 cuts? I couldn't even stand to live through 1 hour of religious education, it was a boore...

  • i never received those little books =(

they dont give that in ottawa, or maybe its cuz I alway tell the religious crackheads to die in a fire =/

  • Religion is where you go when you decide learning how the world REALLY works is just too hard. One walk along a beautiful, sunny beach and seeing Dolphins jumping might be all it takes.

"Oh that is just TOO amazing!!! This place MUST have been intelligently designed!!! Zing...Zing...ZING ..... BRAIN FUSE BLOWN!!!

I finally got it....GOD DID IT!!! Wow that just makes so much sense, everything fits now. Omniscient Being does it all.

That's so much easier than going to school. Curiosity gone...

  • @warren52nz Yes, and where does all that awe and wonder go when they happen to witness a horrifically mangling fatal car accident? Did their god trace the bloody arc of a dismembered limb through the air with his invisible finger, and paint the greasy pavement in a beautiful red spray of slippery internal organs? I doubt anyone has ever seen a teenage girl's face crushed against a steering column with her brains leaking out of her poor smashed skull and uttered, "GOD DID IT! PRAISE THE LORD!"

  • @suumr Yeah, when people are desperate to believe something, they have an incredible ability to ignore evidence that goes against their belief.

That's why I go with Science. You can cut through the "fog" and simply LOOK at the evidence to know it's truth. Jets fly, Doctors cure diseases, Nuclear power plants produce electricity

Science flies you to the moon

    Religion flies you into buildings

  • @warren52nz That's all we can get to, the moon. Thank you science.

  • @Exogenesix19 That's all we can get to, the World Trade Center. Thank you religion.

  • @RockyRacoon18 Fallacy.

  • @Exogenesix19 You can't be comparing what Science has brought to our table to what religion has produced... seriously!!! You're using a product of Science to reply to my comments for Christ's sake!!!

The only thing the Bible is useful to me for is a good laugh (I like comedy). The Bible has to be a serious contender for the most epic failure to deliver results to exaggerated claims and unfulfilled promises. The Koran would have to be in the race too of course. It's a good comparison actually.

  • @Exogenesix19 I think it would be worthwhile for Christians to consider this. The two most warlike places in the world are the Middle East and the USA. The US has been in over 50 wars since it was founded. FIFTY! Many of them started for no good reason. And the USA is the heart of Christianity.

Now look at the Middle East. hard to imagine a more war-like culture. And VERY religious too. Compare that to the secular countries like Sweden.

Religion and war go together. Moral high ground my ass!!!

  • @warren52nz You're funny.

  • @Exogenesix19 "You're funny."

    Thank you, thank you... (bows).

But my message is serious. While the rest of the world is racing off into the future, Americans are standing around arguing whether Evolution even EXISTS when it was proven over 50 years ago! This attitude is poisoning the mind of American children who should be learning how to discern truth from fiction instead of being filled with religious dogma . How do you expect them to survive when they believe things like the Noah myth???

  • @warren52nz I totally agree with you, religion is all bull crap.

  • @warren52nz its really single minded when people think the way you do. Im not here to change your mind, but there is evidence for religion, more specific, Christianity. and theirs lots of viable proof for both sides, but i get the feeling that the christians or religious people you meet, "say" they are christians. and you base religions like Christianity off those that you meet. Now some logic: The Proof that God exists is that without Him you couldn't prove anything. read my next comment.
