  • great vid you have here

  • love the video man

  • very interesting video thanks

  • i think all of this would be an incomparable ramble of words if we could hear it and it would happen so quickly that the human brain would be like DERP UMMMM....... 74?

  • That would be awesome if LiL Wayne's voice were in there.

  • Sounded like Dragon Ball characters to me

  • Oh my... I will never look at my CPU the same ever again....

  • So cheesy...

  • do you know if this feature is enable en the iMac Core 5? I mean you can think if is core 5 it would be, but I'm not sure if apple is doing something to lock it. ?¿?¿

  • I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo upset because I went there hoping this huge simulation could help me solve one of my college homework problems. Maybe somebody here could help? I wanted to see if it could indeed solve 0÷47=. It keeps telling me E something. Do you guys think the little indian man living inside this cool computer in the video can help me?

  • AMD is the best.

  • Wouldn't this be intel CPU instead of amd sense it's in a intel museum ?

  • omg

  • This is real-time AMD-CPU operating :P

  • If my Cpu was this slow I'd literally disect it

  • I did this problem in my head 100,000 times before this cpu did. Who says computers are better at math then people?

  • @labobo

    Americans own intel.

  • One of my aunts works for Intel and one works for Wester Digital. They give me the hookup. I know the one that works at WD is a social worker or something there.

  • I'm still waiting for microsoft to deliver an decent operating system..

  • @iTalented I'm still waiting for the Internet to develop proper grammar.

  • @iTalented They never will but its no big deal because Linux already has, several in fact

  • lol

this has really been dumbed down so much that even an american can understand it

    wow thing is annoying

  • My computer doesn't have any of those people, it has 90 year old's all with walkers, its creeping up on 9 years old and has slow waaay down. hahaha.

  • 2 + 3 = 5

    9001 ÷ 0 = CPU explodes

  • hey RAM need some instructions here

RAM : STFU im trying to sleep xD

  • @mschwemberger said the AMD based system lol

  • sending first operand before instruction ? (such a speculative work :) )

  • oddly scary

  • 0:24 - The arithmetic title is inverted with the logic title...lol...

  • And just think how many microprocessors the microprocessor simulator has.

  • @Smt923 considering the control system and the graphics that display could probably run on a low grade celeron

  • thank you

but I should get another clip about it to understand everything.

    I barely hear the voice

  • I can barely fucking hear what they're saying

  • 2+3 = 5

    2 x 3 = FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! D:<

  • im still none the wiser, ill leave the technical shit to the japs and indians

  • hueta

  • Is there a way to put this in America's classrooms?

  • OMG!! EVEN AMD IS FASTER THAN THAT!!

  • Where is that? I wanna bring my pinhead camera.

  • it takes it 6 minutis just to add 3+5?

  • Why did they choose the goofy voice for RAM and the proper sounding Punjab for data instruction? I think RAM better update his resume before he gets outsourced.

  • Indian guy inside?

  • fake and gay

  • LOL so funny ILL GET THE INSTRUCTION INTRUTION CACHE

  • bunnies in my cpu?O.o

  • that is kinda gay lol it sounds like something from bioshock

  • So.. I have an Indian, a little girld and a whole brach of nerds inside my CPU

  • @CxC2007 i was thinkin' about Apu from the Simpsons, when i heard the indian ;) funny...

  • @CxC2007 AEhAEuAEHauhaeuAHUAEHuAEhAEU

  • @CxC2007 LMAO!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @CxC2007 They have a big indian in the motorola 68k display.

  • OMFG THERES AN INDIAN NARRATOR CONTROLLING MY COMPUTER!!!11!

  • lol this is why I use AMD

  • tooo MUch Big Process

  • loool stupid information :| even little children are :|:| when saw this.. This is for monkeys :))

  • could anyone give me a subtitle, and just hear a little.

  • fucking hell by the time it gets to the next step i have forgotten the last one...

  • 2+3=5?

  • nerd

  • HAHAHAH this is simply HILARIOUS omg haha the indian is so funny :D and this thing kinda sucks, way too long and doesn't explain well imo... i mean people wouldn't know what memory adresses are and what cache is etc... meh its a useless but funny thing :D

  • its a damn cylon datastream

  • and everything is made of multiplexers. layers and layers of multiplexers.

  • wheres my three minutes at :( i need a time machine

  • why dose it take 3 minutes to calculate 2+3?

  • Because no one would get it if they showed it in the actual 0.0000000001 seconds it really takes.

  • OVER SIMPLIFICATION AT ITS BEST!!!!

This kinda pisses me off because I was actually hoping to learn more than shit that I already know.

  • Its oversimplification my bad .

  • @thecoast47 No shit, I had increasing urges of punching the prefetch while watching the video.

  • the Indian guy was the best..lmao

  • if it went this slow, I would throw my computer out the window

  • lol

  • Sending De Data :p

    I cracked up laughing...

  • Shit sounds mad stupid

  • i would fuckin destroy that thing do you hear it like wtf

  • @bowendude1234. Sorry for that last comment. I thought you mispelled LAMO as LMAO. I looked it up and it turned out to be slang for "laugh my ass off".

  • that indian accent... LMAO i would agree to daza 1992

  • @bowendude1234 You have something against Indians, bitch?

  • Asshole if you would see the vid you'd hear it and it's called a sense of humor. I have lots of Indian friends and they make fun of the accents themselves!

  • Waht do you expect from these albino hicks.

  • that's great nice to know more.

  • You should have put a microphone on the speaker.

  • Very cute !

  • So true. Thats how all microprocessors work (Intel+AMD), funny isn't it?

  • This museum was built for advertising purposes

  • WaAAa kaya ba natin gawin ang gantong proj?? Arcie, pupo, kazo

  • Wow... that took a while

  • that processor is like a .2GHz

  • i am faster than a processor! beat that INTEL!!! XD

  • human always faster then computer or super or duper computer name it. no body can beat human. who crate them. human!!!!

  • Life fail

  • Apu Nahaasapemapetilon is also in my CPU :D

  • Follow the yellow brick bus, follow the yellow brick bus, follow... Oh well, I think you get it.

  • 2+3?! AND THE OTHERS BUTTONS?! WTF?!

  • "Intel Museum for Idiots", does it really need the anthropomorphicism? Would it not be more efficient to exibit logic without the ambiguity of redundant semantics?

  • it's for kids moron!

  • thats one hella fast cpu, .000005 calculations per second lol

  • OMG there is an indian guy in my CPU and some children omg omg! :P

  • lmfao thats what i was thinking the indian processor guy is funny as shit

  • I bet Intel uses the souls of there employees to power there CPU... THAT'S WHY THEY ARE SO FAST! :P

  • opps i ment 0xFFFFFF is 4,294,967,295 bytes aka 4 GB.. 2,147 billion bytes is the signed version lol got mixed up

but yah thats why the most amount of ram a computer can have is 4 GB.. unless you stack them up with virtual addresses which then get mapped to other addresses on the physical level or some shit.

    but yah

    logic gates = Brain

RAM = storage for brain to use.

cache is ram too.. thats built into the CHIP thats why when you buy computers u see what kind of cache size it has 2 MB etc

  • oh yah forgot about addresses yah those are addresses to the RAM so if you have slow RAM and a fast CPU.. your computer will still be slow since the fast CPU depends that the data on the RAM is accessed fast or the cpu will just wait until the RAM gives it the number based on the address

addresses can hold 1 byte (0-255) 8 binary combonations of 0's and 1's

a address starts from 0x000000 (0) and go up to 0xFFFFFFFF which is around 2,147 billion bytes

you can make WORD/DWORD/QWORD from bytes

  • lol thats mad funny and a indian one of those grocery store owners start to talk.. but yah i understand the operators since im a programmer

xOR OR AND NOT is pretty much everything you need

ADD SUB (SUBTRACT) DIV (DIVIDE) MUL (MULTIPLY)

are just a bunch of AND xOR OR NOT's on a binary scale of 0's and 1's which then turn into numbers..

i guess the soo much blinking is from rendering the LED screen takes alot of power to light up all those dots

  • Hey instruction CACHE! HERES SOME INSTRUCTIONS! MMMMMMMMMMMM!

  • Thanks, RAM. What was with the Indian? lol.

Like a kid would understand any of that. srsly.

  • That was retarded. I did not learn anything except that this is a kindergarten not a museum.

  • this explains nothing

  • OMG!! There are tiny people in my computer? Should I help them?

  • smash it

  • muy buen video, y muy educativo!

  • So that's what that little voice is inside my computer is

  • So this is what´s inside a computer ?

  • dohhh??

  • ;-)

  • hmm.. On Screen 7 = X + Y, if i take X to be 2 and Y to be 5 in computer language it will be 0010 + 0101 = 0111 haha.. all are 0 and 1 only.

  • Good way to explain it. Except it goes like a trillion times faster lol! Hard to imagine that something like metal and crystal can come together and do amazing things like store data and play games and run programs ain't it?

  • were is that at?

  • This was shot at the Intel Museum located at Intel's headquarters in Santa Clara, California.

  • Explaining something like microprocessors so childishly is pure science rape.

    Thanks for the video!
