  • @ owheydusoapsk - As far as raining money. Beck, Limbaugh & Hannity raise A LOT of money for this country and specifically our troops. And off the top of my head Im not aware of any big events, other than speaking events that they use their status for the GOP. And Hannity almost never runs openly in political circles and Beck NEVER does that im aware of. Their major events are for the good of our soldiers. In contrary most Dems wouldn't ever consider doing such things.

  • @DJEK73

Just google and you'll find Hannity taking part in GOP fund-raisers. "And Hannity almost never runs openly in political circles and Beck NEVER does that im aware of." That's probably because only extreme right politicians would associate w/them. Of course thats just my opinion.

  • @owheydusoapsk No doubt Hannity is political. Yes he speaks on behalf of certain Republicans. But hes not heading any fund raisers for political figures. Beck is more about values and history then politics. Dems would know if they actually watched. And Limbaugh avoids even regular interviews for the most part. Never heard him preach on behalf of a specific Republican. He's very clear about this. He wants his word and opinions to be his, not some manufactured BS from a politician.

  • @ owheydusoapsk - why is it up to only politicians to be "constructively and seriously work toward positive solutions for this country"? It's up to everyone, especially with what we consider "politicians" by today's standard. If we were to take the approach of allowing only politicians to mold this country we would be Russia. Fortunately we were found as a republic. And assuming we begin electing people again who remember that, maybe things can begin to get better.

  • @DJEK73

If you could wave a magic wand and change anything about current US policy, what 3 things would you change?

  • @owheydusoapsk (1) Return the TRILLIONS in tax payer money that Obama keeps dishing out every time he wants to socialize something. (2) Get rid of Obama-care. CBO announced that even after all the promises. Cost to be covered will go up and quality will go down. And Obama admitted taxes will need to go up as well. (3) Stop his quest for a global economy. when our poverty line in America still qualifies you as some of the richest in the world, do you really want to level the playing field?

  • @DJEK73

Maybe I'll do a vid on this topic . It's difficult to address in text.

  • @ Owheydussoapsk - Funny how raising money for our soldiers automatically means that its for the GOP. Maybe it means that republicans are usually the first to step forward when it comes to taking care of our troops.

  • @DJEK73

Didn't say it was the same thing. Hannity does raise money for the GOP. He also is involved (I've since discovered) in fund raising for soldiers.

  • owheydusoapsk - the Hannity concert is in event that has raised millions of $ for the families of disabled or deceased soldiers and through the Freedom Alliance. Now that you've questioned Hannity's motive for his concert. Can you mention ANY charitable event that is run or headed by a Dem that brings in money for someone other than their own political future?

  • @DJEK73

I didn't question Hannity's motive for such a concert. I said it doesn't change my opinion of him. I think he is a politically divisive figure. But it's not his job to constructively and seriously work toward positive solutions for this country, he's not a politician w/real responsibility, he's an entertainer. I can't mention any Dem run private fund raisers for soldiers but that doesn't mean they aren't happening.

  • @owheydusoapsk

I'm much more impressed that Obama has got combat troops out of Iraq. That's real progress and relief for our military.

  • @owheydusoapsk There are still over 50,000 troops there? Im not even saying its not time to alternate the route in Iraq, but to say hes taken them out is stretch.

  • Thanks for putting your intelligence on display by resorting to sophomoric name calling. Specifically a man who has been responsible for raising $millions$ for the families of dead and disabled soldiers. Why do you hate American soldiers so much???

  • @DJEK73

I know he's raised a lot for the GOP but have not heard he's raised any for soldiers. Do you have an event or tag I can google to find that link?

  • @owheydusoapsk

Not that it would change my opinion of him. I'm a name caller? I guess, but have you heard Hannity? Nobody mocks and calls names like him.

  • @owheydusoapsk

Actually I think the fact that guys like Hannity, Beck and Limbaugh are seen as leaders w/in the GOP is the best thing that could happen to the Democratic party. In the end these are divisive people. They are not builders, they only tear down.

  • @owheydusoapsk

Love to get in a civil debate on this w/you. Looks like we are on opposite sides of the spectrum here. I'm sick of debating w/atheists. I see you don't do vids w/you talking but if you wanted to give it a try I'm game.

  • @owheydusoapsk Freedom Alliance & wounded warrior. Not to mention He has given almost a million $ of his own money to these charities. Can you give examples of where he "raised a lot" for the GOP? And Im still curious, with all the bashing that these 3 take. You must have at least a few examples of Liberals that are equally or more charitable to US causes? Unfortunately mainstream Libs believe that the US is bad and oppressive place, so we know those charities don't exist.

  • @DJEK73

Just google "Hanitty GOP fundraiser". Again, I don't know examples of dems raising money for charitable events, I'm sure there are examples, but it is irrelevant to my criticisms of Hanitty, Limbaugh etal.

  • Big fan of Skynard 30 years ago. I suppose not having a hit in 30n years means you'll do about anything to survive. Too bad it's come to promoting a clown like sean hannity.

  • @owheydusoapsk Do anything? They believe in what's RIGHT!

  • @Chasela511

Your probably right. Even as a young band they were probably politically conservative. "Southern Man" criticizes Neil Young. Thay are from the South. They probably do agree w/Hannity.
