My girlfriend loves Bebop for it's story and depth, when I presented Champloo and mentioned it was directed by the same guy as Bebop she didn't think she was going to be into it like Bebop so she always said no one day when we had little cash in the wallets and almost no gas in the car I just bought the whole box set, we watched it and now she's hooked. We're not into anime/t.v AT ALL but we believe Champloo and Bebop are more than just "animes" we believe they are art and beautiful stories.

Eh Jedi Mind Tricks is bit more on the hardcore side. Their sampling technique is similar but the lyrics are very violent.

Other artists that work with Nujabes include Akin, Cise Star and by extension CYNE, Five Deez, Shing02, MINMI, and a bunch of others. Just do a little research and look on the websites.

Panacea is the shit :) i like K-murdocks instrumental anime-influenced stuff aswell, CYNE esp. Water for Mars is really good, Five Deez all great, can't forget Fat Jon tho, Force of Nature is also good if you can find their ''I, II, III" albums
