That sucks. I have "mild" allergies to cats. Mainly of the long-haired sort. I just get a little stuffy. I would hate to have severe allergies to them, I dunno what I would do!
Actually I think dad's only mildly alergic, too, I mean, he's been around cat's before, such as at the house I used to go to day care, and my older half-brother has some cats, so, and the worst I'd seen him after such a short encounter was a little sniffle, so.... I dunno.

This is not weird, the cat is at least part manx, I have one too. they are extremely well mannered and trainable cats. Mine will come, sit, shake and stop on command.
That's sweet. I love my little guy. He did a good job training himself, and is pretty constant with it too! My other two cats are fat and extremely lazy.
Yeah, actually since your cat is so responsive with the fetching you might want to look into clicker training. It can be successful with teaching cats and personally I've had good success with it with my dogs.

Seriously, my dog lives in terror of my cat, and the dog is not a little yip yip, she's a big hound type of dog. And the cat is pretty small...

I have a dog that is part cat, alot of the times he sounds like hes trying to meow, and plus he tries to have sex with cats.....not kidding.

One of my previous roommates had a "catdog" too. He would fetch and would hop up onto its hind legs when it would get excited at you being around.
