so let me get this straight. On the place bets the only way you lose is by rolling a 7? 2,3, and 11 do not hurt u at all on place bets? I need to know cause this seems like the smartest and most effective way to play craps.

lol, the player on the end was getting frusterated because you wouldn't tell him that the number 9 pays out equal to 5. He wanted to know if the payout was the same as the 5, like 4's payout is equal to 10.

Yes, you are right. I may have misspoke during the filming of the video. If you designate the place bets as "on" or live during a come out roll, they can lose on a "7".

Professor, You had said that leaving your place bets on the table when the puck is "off" still subject those bets to "lose" if a 7 come up. Doesn't "off" mean that those bet are not affected (win or lose) untill a point has been made and the puck in turned "on"?

if I understand your question, does having a pass line bet on the 9 prevent you from placing the 9? No. But why do it? If you want to wager more money on the 9, increase your 9 Pass line bet odds.

At 6.45, the player wanted to play the 5 and the 9. You adviced him to only play the 5, because the 9 is represented by the initial pass line bet. But, in theory, would it have been possible to be the 9 anyway?

Wrong, at 2:15, the place bets are always off on the come out roll, unless you request them to be working. I don't sell books, but I have been making money on the tables for 15 years. We may want to revoke your license Doc for that mistake.

i have played my own version in the past, " waiting like a hunter not gambling like a gambler." I wait for 2 shooters in a row, and no 6 or 8 has come out. @BoCraps no, you make money a lot of the time and you lose a little more of the time. you have lost overall. people like you never will admit that you cant win overall at craps. i have met people who are sure they are craps players and still do not understand the simple logical concepts to make there game as good as it can be. this guy is a ph.d in math and he is embarrassingly childish in his lack of understanding of this simple game.

@BoCraps I had a run of 17 wins out of 20 sessions -- IT WAS JUST A RANDOM EVENT THAT HAPPENED. The test of any strat is: 1. Can you show w/precise clear math (not anecdotes) that it gives you a + return over an infinite time? 2. Are you using past events (results of rolls, win or loss, how much you might be ahead or behind etc) to decide ANYTHING about future rolls? If no on 1 and/or yes on 2, no viable + strat. THERE ARE NO + STRATS. As far as you being ahead, PLAY ON! Time heals.

@BoCraps sir, i have played craps for 20 years, very much poker, beened barred from blackjack in several casinos. 95% of the people who read the letter you just responded to will understand and respect my letter. Rather telling that you responded to nothing in my last letter, but suggested it had hate in it. People who are interested in a subject will happily debate all aspects of it.
