  • I'm pretty sure it probably has been used in an old Chinese film, they often do it, the old films anyway, that have been dubbed and such. The one I watched had the theme from the original Assault on Precinct 13, along with spaghetti western music like Ennio Morricone music etc.

  • great movie of gore!!!

  • Most original and fantastical score that Goblin has ever made for Argento.

I remember DA mentioning using a Greek instrument called the Bouzouki to produce these other-worldly wonderful sounds.

Some find it grotesque. I find it beautiful.

  • this soundtrack's amazing!!!! :D

  • Great movie-Great soundtrack thanks to Goblin

  • they really aren't kidding when they say that when you see suspiria, u will never feel safe again in the dark... i was sitting in the almost dark (the tv and a small light on) and i was near really big windows at night when a really loud pop went off! it was stupid fireworks (even though theyre illegal here) and i looked out my window and i thought of that scene in the bathroom with the eyes and the bat! scared the crap outta me!

thanks for the soundtrack. makes me neurotic!

  • You are my hero of the hour. I love Italian horror, and their music and films are always stylized and cryptic. I thank you so much for uploading all these great classics. Fulci and Argento go down as my favorite directors of all time. Goblin and Frizi are both amazing as well.

  • Thanks!

  • The soundrack is kickass, fucking great yeah!!

    = 0 U

  • @wallawallaNorb And so does Suspiria

  • perfect for the climax in the movie... cool!

  • Indeed. The whole school freaking erupted!

  • i also was thinking if the entire soundtrack was remade for other films... i guess karateka or japanese films, in the Wiki mentions something...

  • Hmm...

  • no way... this soundtrack has never been used for other movies...

  • I have seen clips of an old Chinese movie that used music from Suspiria. I don't remember what movie that was, though.

  • @Joorum

It's called "We Are Going To Eat You" and I believed it used segments from this track as well as 'Witch'.

  • @Joorum I hear ya. It was a Kung-Fu movie too.

  • i frigging love this song and the movie

  • It's very chaotic!

  • Fantastic/creepy track from Goblin. This, Sighs and the main theme are my favorite tracks from the Suspiria soundtrack. Shame Goblin doesn't do many scores now a days.

  • They've split up. I like how this song always starts playing at "Holy shit!" moments.

  • Goblin split up again? I know they reunited for Nonhosonna and they did an original CD titled Back to the Goblin but did they break up after that as well?

  • I don't think they work together anymore. I could be wrong.

  • I'm listening to Sights, Markos and Witch at the same time. I'm scared as hell.

Try it, with volume up to eleven!

  • Well, I'm doing so now and it sounds like a mad riot! Markos is the only one that I can recognize from all the mess.

  • Well, it's much like that, but it's quite a ride to hear that mess alone in the dark!

  • I'm in the dark now. ALONE!!! Suspiria music works ok as a mess too, I guess. Suits a death scene the best, I'd say.

  • Yeah, it1s the only horror movie to have music that suits the scenes/imagery.

Even if the theme is repeatedly played, it still fits so well! Goblin at their best, in my opinion. Actually, all the cast & crew at their best!

  • Ssupiria is awsome! Such an experience! There's no way not to be frightened nor dislike this masterpiece. The colors, the sounds, it's a nightmare filmed! What a great tune, the Suspiria OST is a must-hear for me!

Thank you so much for uploading!

  • You are very welcome!

I like this theme. It is very aggressive and energetic. Perfect for creating a feeling of panic.

The very first Argento movie that I saw was Inferno but Suspiria is the one dearest to my heart. A fantasy story for adults. Magnificent!

  • A horror fairly tale! Someone's nightmare filmed! Argento's magnum opus! Best horror movie ever! Scariest use of colors in cinema! just a few qualities of this experience...

  • Spot on.

  • Haha, i love talking about that movie. But not to my friends, they hated. But what do they know about great films? One of them says EPIC MOVIE is the best movie ever :?

    Anyway, remarkable picture...

  • You have a very mature taste in cinema. I was lucky enough to get my friends convinced about the quality of Argento's films. There's nothing like discovering his work all by yourself, though.

    Epic Movie sucked!!!

  • thanks, you too! I saw Sus, than the Bird, than Profondo, than Inferno. I'm going to watch TENEBRE/TENEBRAE as soon as i can! Looks AWSOME! Haven't seen EPIC MOVIE and i don't want. Nor Date Movie, Superhero Movie, Meet the Spartans, Crap Movie... what happened to PARODY MOVIES LIKE THE NAKED GUN AND AIRPLANE! ????

  • Cinema is slowly dying.

It's up to people like us to maintain its glory. How that happens, I don't know.

Tenebre is an incredible movie! I highly recommend it.

  • Oh yeah, specially the horror genre. That's why i want to become a director (from all genres, if posible). I wrote a screenplay, if you want to know, and i want it to become a film! Giallos are underrated here in Brazil. Well, the whole quality cinema is...
