Let's be honest. If you paid attention, he has a hand throttle but NO control surfaces. He steers it with his entire body, arms, hands, head, torso, legs, etc.

Rossy's said himself the only reason he doesn't go into a fatal spin or rip the wings off from pulling too many G's is because he's in incredibly good shape and has years of experience operating a wingsuit, a non-powered "flying suit" that's pretty common now.

None of you would be able to fly one. You'd just kill yourself.

He has methodically developed this technology and hopes one day to share it with the world, once all his goals for it have been met including: takeoff from the ground and vertical lift. He's already met and surpassed earlier goals. This is only the beginning. :-)
