Republican hatchet job. All the real investigations cleared ACORN of any wrongdoing and a federal judge found that Congress violated the Constitution in taking away ACORN's funding. And that "fair and balanced" news organization's boss has given millions to the Republican Party. How come there's never anything about "legitimate" companies which have defrauded taxpayers of $ billions-

But I really can't see how the story of a couple of irresponsible employees doing irresponsible things gets warped into the story of ACORN being a criminal enterprise. Where is the evidence that their actions were done under the instruction of higher-ups? Is there even any?

It'd be like coming up one nugget short in my order of 6-piece McNuggets, and then accusing McDonalds of being a nationwide criminal enterprise hell-bent on deceiving the American public through false advertising.

ACORN does far more good than most organizations. While it is clear that they messed up with the pimp/ho scenario, I am positive that they will survive this in the end, and look forward to their organizing efforts to get more people eligible to vote and save their homes.

I don't think anyone in their right mind is against helping folks that need help. However, an organization hiding under the guise of that in order to take public money, or charitable contributions given in good faith to help the needy ... and then to use it to do voter fraud, this pimp ho thing, .. etc...
