The thing that is incorrect about this video, is that just because someone self harms doesn't mean they want to attempt suicide. If they did, (and I know this all from experience) they would just go on and commit suicide. Self harming is more of a release and a way to feel pain, either at all or enough to not feel the pain on the inside. Suicide is to escape.

Ummm, Ellie wasn't trying to commit suicide, she was just cutting! The only person that I know of from this generation of Degrassi who tried committing suicide was Darcy, after she got raped. I've not only cut, but I've also attempted suicide also, before Degrassi: The Next Generation came out.

Believe me, I didn't brag, just the fact that I've done it and gotten over it, for the most part, before the show even went into production. Why would anyone want to brag about cutting in the first place. Trust me, I'm a 24 year old single mom, bragging about something in my past that was destructive isn't worth the effort, I'd just want people to know that cutting is done for different reasons. Yeah, you're right, I forgot about Craig, cause it was from, what the second season, and JT, cause he's the farthest from my mind to commit suicide, and there is footage on here of them too, but I was too pissed about Ellie being on that I didn't watch the rest. I knew Darcy tried, cause that was rather recent.

the only real suicide prevention is taking care of children. Making them know that masturbation is a brain torture which leads to depression and unimaginable suffering that makes people commit suicide.
People who do not masturbate never become
depressed and never think of suicide.
