JohnHasSeriousQ i agree with you. but i will also add that abortion should be up to the woman in question. and only her. Even if you would consider the fetus as a life, it would be like comparint a plant to a human...it would not be ethical to subject the human's body for the life of this plant. If you dissagree with me that's fine, it is what we call a democracy, and this is my opinion

A fetus is not a life as we know life. A fetus only has the potential for life. While abortions may or may not be tragic to the mother or family concerned, it is not tragic to the fetus being aborted. A fetus does not have the experience of life. Free abortions on demand, at any stage of gestation, without parental or government approval! If you think abortion is wrong, consider that abortions would not be as necessary or desirable under radically different socio-economical conditions.

If this is so, we as human beings have the OBLIGATION to respect it as a human being.

So it IS a tragedy that these rights are being desecrated and disregarded so that the person at its smallest state will never have the choice of experiencing life outside the womb.

@maxbenjo If youre in a burning building alongside a 3 year old child and a nitrogen cooled titanium cell containment tank, are you telling me youd look into the girls face, the girl who has parents who love her, clutching her doll and crying and tell her "sorry kiddo but theres a lot more -little people- in this tank than you, and run outside with the metal canister?

who are you to say that a fetus has not experienced life. Because to you that child has not lived outside the womb of it's mother, it's not experiencing life. Are you God? Only God has the right to taketh and giveth life. That fetus has a heartbeating at 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS - if your heart stops, aren't you not experiencing life anylonger. You Pro-Abortion people just plain make me sick. Just because that fetus is not outside in YOUR world, doesn't mean it can't feel what is happening to him

Such thinking carried over into my philosophy regarding the little life of small animals. Insofar as they have only this one short life...God forbid that they lose it just so I will have delicious cuisine.
