Technically this is not an albino cornsnake. Albino is generally used to refer to the amelanestic cornsnake which lacks black pigment but still has red and white pigment. To be considered an albino animal, it must lack pigment, giving it its reddish color. In the amelanistic corns, they lack black. The snake you have here is a snow corn snake. It DOES have pigment--it has a white pigment instead of red and black of normal cornsnakes. But because it does have pigment, it is not albino.
Love how everyone is crying because a fucking mouse dies. People set mouse traps and kill them every damn day in the world. So quit your crying, its the cycle of life for snakes to eat things like these. If your gonna complain just dont watch the damn video and go on with your life. Nice snake man.
@mea555 there is nothing wrong with feeling compassion towards another living creature, no matter how many there may be and no matter how many may suffer. Agreed, it is a beautiful snake and deserves a satisfied life. But, does the cycle of life truly consist of containing the prey to a small area where it has absolutely no chance? The cycle of life is a balance of predator vs prey where the more agile and skilled may perservere. All that to say, he could just feed his snake frozen mice... :P

I like. :-) The way you tell the mouse against the glass is dead is 1: it's not moving, and 2: even when the snake moves, the mouse against the glass retains its same squished shape, meaning it's started to cool, which only happens after death.
it seems like there are more vegans than snake owners here. same with gun videos having more liberals than gun activists. if you dont like it go watch a tortoise eat some lettuce
... expired meat in the supermarket, or meat in the trash. And so I do not support it.
I do not, however, support the concept that eating meat is wrong. And I especially do not condone condemning our omnivores out there with fire and brimstone. Eating meat is fine, and in fact in order to be healthy herbivorous humans require a very specialized/supplemented diet. You're a vegan? Fantastic! I salute you. You want to to try to say eating meat is immoral? I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree.
@EftahYaSemsem1991: I want you to do something for me. Stick your finger in your mouth. Now feel your teeth. Feel the sharp ones? Yea, we're omnivores.
Now I agree that we are wasteful, wasteful omnivores, and that is why I'm a vegetarian. I will not support a market that wastes lives, and I think we are too far detached from our food - people have stopped thinking about the fact that that steak was a living creature, who gave up its life unwillingly as sustenance. I cringe every time I see...
ourselves this lie(because I think we all know deep inside that it's a lie we don't want to admit) then we can stop this madness and realize that our venomous and evil lifestyles and businesses based on killing are certainly not due to an issue of health, survival or price. Let's get real and discipline ourselves a little more than this.
strive and actually outlive our meat-eating counterparts on a vegan diet means that we are only eating animal products because they taste good, out of habit, or pure ignorance as to our ability to survive without it. The average consumer these days will admit that what goes on in factory farms is wrong, and would not want something like this to happen unnecessarily. The problem, is that most of us are indoctrinated to think that we need meat, dairy and eggs to survive. Once we stop telling ours
@realplutonicmind9: I am a vegan actually. And what you said is true of carnivorous animals and occasionally omnivorous ones surviving in nature. The fact that most of us live in an industrialized society, and the fact that we possess a much more complex and philosophical mind, as humans, one which can decipher between right and wrong, I would say necessitates us to make a morally correct choice when it comes to food aka a diet that does not necessitate killing and death. @PolorB3ar When the snake originally struck at the brown mouse (but missed), it accidentally pinned the white one against the wall in the process. Feeling the white mouse up against the wall, the snake maintained pressure on it, successfully killing it. It was after the snake had pinned that white mouse against the wall, I decided to start recording to see what would happen. Turned out to be my most watched video.
@macar6913 Hunting is fine, you shoot a deer in the head it fucking dies. Snakes deserve to die just by the shitty ass painful and slow way they kill. Look at lions and other shit, They break its fucking neck real quick. Snakes are assholes.
@lawlawlowned One, hunters almost never shoot a deer in the head. They aim for the heart.
Two, snakes usually kill rodents very fast with constriction due to the extremely fast circulatory system in rodents.
Three, lions begin eating as soon as the prey stops resisting. This means they often eat them alive. You are thinking of several other species of big cats that hunt solo and require their prey to be dead before moving them to a tree (such as cougars).
She is beautiful. I love her color. I find the way snakes hunt their prey and eat them so amazing. I am the mother of a ball python. Hes like a child to me. I love him. But seriously cool video and a beauty of a snake.(:
@MrEddieb2b We got this one full grown from a friend who was giving it away. Normally though, they run for between $30-$80 or more, depending on color scheme. You would do best to find a breeder and look at multiple snakes to determine what your preference is and buy from them. Going to Petco or Petsmart can increase the risk of getting a diseased snake, so watch out for that.
@xISiLLeNTIx She's just a little shy of 4 feet long. Full grown. She is pretty thick. I think she is a little bigger than some of the small breed boas. Corn Snake standards though, she is on the large side.
i have a black rat snake but there alot alike. I love holding and feeding him your snake looks pretty cool but alot bigger than mine I caught mine as a baby!!!
@SophieBabe100 That's not animal cruelty. According to Disneys "The Lion King", it's the 'circle of life'. It's not like I'm pinning the mouse down and torturing it. The snake was hunting the mice and this is how it accomplished it's mission. Although I would agree that it sucks to be the mouse squished against the wall (or any mouse fed to a snake, but snakes gotta eat).
My dad told me when he had snakes one of his rat snakes would do this. He sad it would sit still and feel where every mouse was and in one motion would slam all 3 of them into the sides of the cage at once. It was wild caught, probly accounts for a high feeding response or something
@ADRASTOSindeimos That's pretty rad! This snake has a habit of killing one, dropping it, killing the other and eating it, then going back to eat the other. This was the first time I'd ever seen her kill two like this so I was glad I was able to catch a portion of it on film (hence the very candid Elmo doll heard in the background).
Cool video mate, awesome snake too. Quick question: has your snake ever been injured by the mice? I keep reading that they should be fed frozen then thawed food.
@dopeyoak It is recommended that they be fed frozen mice. I have met someone who had a similar snake who was bitten by a live mouse. Snake lived with a wicked scar. Thawing frozen mice was a bit of a hassle though. I've been feeding this snake live mice for 6 years now with no problems. It is a risk however.

Did the snake also eat the white mouse after eating the brown one?
