Thai police sometimes used too much power. I myself got kicked in the butt when I was a little kid in Loei back in 1987 dah. However, I do believe there are good police out there in Bangkok and other Thai cities.

Gotta love those gatherings out on the streets after pay day. Hey, there are mia nawys to feed and whiskey to be drunk! They garner no respect from foreigners, and not much more from many Thais. It's sad really and needs to be put in order. It's hard to regard them as anything other than ridiculous, unfortunately.
