Piece of trivia, they quit making phone booths after being sued by a guy who didnt have enough time to get out when a car crashed into the booth. He claimed had he not been in a booth he could of easily dove out of the way.

Sounds crazy at first but I gotta say it is a valid point. The booths are indeed always close to the street & its not like car wrecks are rare. That few seconds it takes to open the door & get out may be the difference between life & death

However, the only thing I can deduce is that the sniper is part of some branch of law-enforcement, or was, or at one point was some sort of a security consultant. I only say this because...well I can't tell you without giving away the ending and some other points of the movie. Unless you don't really care.

This movie took 11 days to shoot, and I remember an interview that Colin Farrell gave when he said he got his first gray hair on this shoot. Joel Schumacher is a great director he's had some really good movies, this one especially and A Time To Kill to name another one. It takes quite an actor to have an entire movie centered around a phone booth! Farrell's performance was top notch. Kiefer Sutherland has one of the best CREEPY voices ever!!!!!

@ComputerIlliterit 3 days filming in NYC the rest in LA, shooting on "French" hours, no lunch break. Just grab something from craft services between takes. Schumacher directed Farrell's first US film, Tigerland. Colin also said he went thru 4 packs of cigarettes a day on that shoot, because of the high level of emotion he had to maintain. The first days boxoffice made the film's entire budget. The "ladies" at the begining of film also in Tigerland with Colin, his first US film for Schumacher.
