  • Biggest Loser is not about how you should live everyday, it's about how people can get to their goal weight in ideal conditions so they can go home an maintain. Of course no one is going to be losing 100lbs in 16 weeks for the rest of their life, because no one needs to lose that kind of weight for their entire life. As for the way the shorts fit, and the shoulder vs. abdominal width, I'd guess this guy is really a fat ass himself.

  • Dem legs, Squatz and oatz they said....

  • So true that show is not real who has time to workout all day forget the kids, husband and your job... haaa, haaa, yeah right

  • I love that term "sympathy weight" lol.

  • hey man have you heard about the new show jillian has on tv? haha

  • How many people are going to comment about the shorts? O.o

Love your videos. Glad to know that I'm doing the exercise time(s) correctly.

  • @xRapidDavex It's because they don't have, or have never seen anybody with big legs.

  • hey Steve the back of that chair makes it look like you have huge traps !! LOL

  • You obviously don't have this problem. lol. Do leg presses and squats for a while and it'll eventually happen to you too bro!

  • Huge legs. The shorts get tighter when I sit down.

  • To my regular website, not many.

To my You Tube site about 10,000.

  • Gotta love how that chair gives you huuuuuuuge traps in this vid lol. The shirt and the chair same color hehe.

Steve if you happen to read this or whatever, I am just curious. How many people are subscribed to your website?

  • so true steve

  • O.K. I can understand that. I'm not really talking about putting muscle on, I'm talking about keeping the muscle they have or minimizing muscle loss. They're going to lose some anyway,.no question about it. When the caloric defiicit is too large, muscle loss will take place. I've seen charts where most of the weight the person lost was muscle. When people are over dieted and over trained, they become irritable and emotional. I suppose that makes for good TV. Concentrate on inches lost,..NOT lbs.

  • You're absolutely right because I've lost a lot of weight and my muscle mass has decreased. However to go by inches is really hard to do because of errors in measuring and limitations (for example, I could never get less than 30 inches). I'd love to hear your feedback because I want to do a similar competition but with a realistic twist.

  • In my book, the television show " The biggest Loser," should be renamed " The Biggest (Muscle) Loser." It looks to me like a bunch of people in a race to see how much muscle weight they can lose in a set period of time. This has got to effect their Basal Metabolic Rates in a very negative way. When they continue to lose 5 pounds per week,..week after week, I'd be curious to know how much muscle weight they've lost per week. Thanks " Biggest Loser, " for confusing the public even more.

  • You are CLEARLY a thinner person. You need to understand how it feels to be mad overweight. you want to see that number on the scale by which you live drop. I agree, gaining muscle is important, but maybe some people choose to do it when they are closer to a respectable weight as for people looking sick...they are vying for $250K they do all these crazy ass things to drop weight whether its water, fat, or muscle to win the cash...use the principles of the show as a role model, not the people

  • It sure does. And you don't need the RIGHT body to lose weight and get in shape.

  • Mark and Jay looked really sick in the finale of the couples edition.

  • very good points here. the biggest loser should be re-named the biggest scam.

  • The quantity of what you eat is key.

  • Great video and very true. I just posted a video on Biggest Loser and why it may not be healthy viewing for most people.

  • i like that!

"don't have to make it your life... just incorporate it into your life!"

    nice one

  • I like your videos, though i dont agree with things like it doesnt matter what you eat as long as you burn more calories than what you eat, you got a lot of good information...

  • To the point and accurate! Nice work!

    youssef - ireland!

  • Nice vid again. Wish I saw that follow-up interview, sounded interesting.

Oh and by the way, Steve, we don't all have lives... 0:)
