  • what a fucking voice

  • Comment removed

  • No buddah try and fuck with I man clarity.. I love that line

  • @ruthmija, too late man, Kode9 used it over an entire mix on Dubstep Allstars vol. 3 if I can recall. Get your hands on the mix anyway if you can, solid stuff from a trusted name.

  • fancy a bum?

  • as someone said burial is a producer not a DJ, he has never played a live set

  • @2ColdChannel Not true though. He and Kode9 did a set together when Mary Anne Hobbs left Radio1. Completly epic.

  • Does anyone know where i can find this vocal? I want to experience with remixing a bit by using this great piece of art.

  • fuuuuck accidentaly pressed dislike :(

  • @tony331979 slap yourself

  • @bmtkid00 lol!

  • Do anyone else sense a strong Kryptic Minds influence here? Both artists are great, so not pointing any fingers here.

  • Time to get more high.

  • Victims themselves of a close encounter

Desperate abducters, constructers become infected, vexed

By an alien virus, so alien, so viral

Living spaceapes, creatures, covered, smothered in ripe tentacles

    Stimulating the audio nerve directly

You wanna come flex with me...

    and so on

  • @MrSUPERLUCCA i think he says Covered smothered in writhing tentacles...but it sounds like riving because of his accent and they way he pronounces words. Ripe doesn't really make sense.

  • Sensory language leaves us with no habit for lying

We are hostile aliens, immune from dying

  • beautiful 11/16 bliss

  • my favorite burial tune

  • How does burial make such the sickest beats?

  • dmt

  • in my opinion is better the sister track "victims" by kode 9

  • People seem to forget the genius of Spaceape in this track.

  • @adiamondonwings DJing is a subtle way for intellectuals to express their true talents; it's not a waste, by any means.

  • its like burial has changed a loot with their music.

  • WE ARE HOSTILE EEEAHLIENS IMMUNE FROM DYINNNNNN

  • I wish Space Ape could narrate my life.

  • Stimulating tha audio-nerve directly

  • can't sit still on this wicked beat

  • O my GOD im a hostile alien.................

  • sick music!!

  • this is such a tune. me a spaceape always.

  • I would say Burial is the greatest artist to emerge from last decade.

  • trippy ending..

  • Check out my account if u r curious...

  • this is.....great!!!!!!!!

  • So true...Genius!!!

  • NICE SONG ... BUT looks like Nigga lost hes BANANA

  • @fakapuppy And im glad he did

  • spaceapes voice is fucking scary but so good

  • For mash tracks up and become a good DJ you need a good ear and a dancing spirit inside... to produce real, deep tracks - ass shaking boxes or down tempo chill bastards you need an soul, you dont only need to feel the music - you have to become one! that is a real other level... it´s Burial.

  • @DOWNsideART

Creating the "deep" sound is the same as going for any other sound in different genres there will still be standard tactics, like really heavy reverb and low-passing. Just because it's deep doesn't make it the most brilliant track of all time.

  • @TheShamansHerb yeah but producing is a lot harder. that's what i'm saying. I have messed around with producing, mixing, scratching, mcing, even some "real" instruments. mixing is a joke compared to real creative expression

  • the song is epic..

  • My nerves are now tense and my senses are slowly going.

  • reminds me of Gotham city from Batman

  • it sounds like the song of the devil its so sick

  • nvr erd b4... LVING IT!!!!! :D blind steamin

  • talk english mate. lol

  • @lowprofingers

fuck you mate, as you can clearly see I was intoxicated that night clearly states that I was blind steaming.... I am perfectly capable of writing in English. Sorry if you were offended by my lack of typing capabilities whilst pissed.

    Good day!

  • First album is untouchable along with Kode 9 & Spaceape.

  • Burial's music hypnotises me

  • Damn!

  • good. lord.

i heard this album for the first time today, and i love this song!! 5/5

  • burial is the sound of an ancient pagan ritual drowning in soapy bathwater

  • YESSS,he issss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he s great i luv im!!!

  • he needs to bring out a new album,

    the sooner the better

  • no he needs to start djing aswell

  • why waste a genius mind on something as easy as djing?

  • holy shit perfect comment

  • If mixing is easy then you're not mixing to the best of your ability.

  • @TheShamansHerb try producing.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm well aware of how to mix as well as produce. I checked out your tunes, you should try producing.

  • @TheShamansHerb ? i made those tracks from nothing but samples and parts i played on keyboards.... what are you implying is keeping me from being a "producer"?

  • @adiamondonwings

Not at all, in fact I'm not the one who said that my brother posted through my account I wouldn't have been as rude.

All I'm saying is that mixing takes skill and you can't discount that because it takes more time to make a decent tune, there are tons of DJs that pump out a ton of tracks (Laidback Luke for example) and they're not of the highest quality. What I'm getting at is that they both take talent, an ear for music, and soul in different aspects.

  • @TheShamansHerb I'll agree that a good mix takes some level of ability that any guy off the street might not necessarily possess, but producing is an application of such ability a hundredfold. taking the sounds of others and compiling them to create a suitable whole is only a fraction of the work that a producer puts into making a finished track

  • @adiamondonwings

That, I would agree with it does not take as much skill to mix as to produce, but regardless it wouldn't be a waste of creative genius to spin shows.

  • @adiamondonwings

I used to think that too, but since then I have heard some sets that have just blown me away, and made me hear songs in ways I had never even imagined before.

Producers and DJ's both contribute something essential. A good set comes from the heart just like a good song does, so in my mind the two roles are absolutely equal.

  • @adiamondonwings hmm. i hear you buddy, but djing - at its best, and most inventive - takes crazy skill, foresight and talent. for example, what DJ Shadow or DJ Krush can do live IS a hundredfold the ability of the average guy on the street. and obviously, at times... producers can knock stuff out with ease, sometimes with lame results, but sometimes with effortless brilliance. not all DJs stick to just mixing other people's tracks, some take it so much further than that it astonishes

  • @adiamondonwings why go when you can stay

  • @adiamondonwings Producing?

  • @adiamondonwings i hate ppl say djin easy iv been djin 4 10 years an it takes alot of time 2 learn the skills 2 make a good mix

  • @tj4eva100 DJ'ing isn't that hard lol? I was mixing jump-up dnb when I was 15 on shitty belt drive turntables. Paste 'calvinator9111111111' in the Youtube search bar, you should see an old video of me mixing lol, pretty shit but I personally cannot see how 10 years isn't enough to perfect the hobby, no offence.

  • @adiamondonwings Like life is about doing hard stuff. Life is doing what you want to do.

  • @kanelic actual skilled djs would tell you that what they do is hard. the computer fiddling, cdj nonsense that passes for "djing" these days is made with the purpose of being easy enough for any douche that wants to start impressing girls at house parties

  • @adiamondonwings Maybe that is true. But the fact remains that he wants to do what he does, and that is what matters. To him at least.

  • @kanelic ? ok dali lama..........

  • @adiamondonwings this is not djing...this is art.

  • @Kaondubs ... it has never been djing... producing

  • I guess you're referring to electronic music composition. Would love to see some of your tracks :).

  • @adiamondonwings It has probably been said many times, as your comment is over 2 years old. I will say it one more time though: DJ'ing is not the same as producing. Burial is a producer, and creating music the way he does only highlights the extent of his genius.

  • @adiamondonwings It's better than restricting yourself to rock instrumentation.

  • @SuperiFox

it's not like any musical style is objectively "better" or "more talented" than anny other.

I'm fuckin glad Burial does this. Some of the best, darkest music I have ever heard. And I'm glad that Jack White has stuck with guitar, doing his fucking crazy rock and roll.

like the old saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • quality track

  • burial is sweet =) love both of his albums!!

  • Both??? 38 tunes in only two albums? i Donno...

    This is a brilliant track...

    Respect for that!

  • He has lots of EPs etc, but only 2 actual albums.

  • whats his other album?

  • Untrue

  • burial furial xd

  • like this alot.
